I think you will find all cars and caravans go to Hayle and beyond if you used this logic and the dual carriageway went all the way to Land's End you would get a bottleneck at Land's End. Please engage brains..
So much for 'dueling' the A30. Its a whole new road running parallel to the old one and has swallowed vast amounts of prime agricultural land. Im sure the tourists will love it.

It’s a completely new road running alongside the existing A30. The majority of disruption to the.existing road are planned to be done either at night or outside the main holiday periods
Couldn't actually finish watching, it's an animation so you're in control of the cars going along it yet there's lane hogging left right and centre. Would've been a perfect way to show people how dual carriageways should be used 🤦🏼♀️
