hi my friend, just to clarify , the batteries must be in auto not only because it would power the dc batt bus , because if we have the ground power unit connected the dc batt bus is energized , however we still need to connect the batteries in auto in order to operate the btl . that is why even if we have energized the batt bus if we try to start the apu with the batt off , the apu will not start. of course i am pretty sure that with your experience you would be more capacitited to explain it. very good explanation , thanks a lot.

Sir, 1 question. In FCOM it says, STAT INV provided by BAT 1 as you mentioned too.. Now it says above 50kt, even if BAT push buttons are OFF, still STAT INV will automatically work, if aircraft electrical is only powered by batteries. Now how does that happen, in OFF conditions, how is Stat Inv provided by Bat 1. Thank You
Also, When the aircraft speed is below 50 kt, the inverter is activated, if only the batteries are supplying electrical power to the aircraft, and both BAT 1 and BAT 2 pushbuttons are ON. why in this case we need BAT buttons to be ON ?
Correct it is written and your understanding is also current. Just note 👉🏻Battery pushbuttons control the electrical connection between batteries and DC BAT BUS whereas the electrical connection between battery (BAT 1) and AC ESS BUS via static inverter is controlled by logics as like when aircraft is only on batteries (EMER ELEC on BAT) for Speed > 50kts, the system needs assistance of Static Inverter and hence the electrical connection herein is automatically made (irrespective of BAT pb position).

So it is this logic that activates Static Inverter when Speed is less than 50kt, only when Bat 1 and Bat 2 PB is ON (i.e. Batteries are connected to DC Bat BUS ) . ?? correct
