In my opinion the USAS is an enhancement of the AA12 (With a few trade-offs). Don't get me wrong, the AA12 is VERY POWERFUL in close range and because of its 20 round drum and semi decent damage its able to spam upstanding enemies at mid ranges, The USAS trades away this ability for a 150 rpm boost and moderate spread to be able to become one of the best close range weapons in the game even topping the AA12 (Again in my opinion). Obviously though it's a niche and suffers from a really slow and sometimes inconsistent reload. However, It's absolutely great for taking down small groups of people but good luck going on a fast paced multi with this thing.

If AA-12 never had 20 round drum then the result would be as similar to USAS-12.

Basically: USAS-12 is better but only if you have ok aim and dont miss 5/10 shots

AA-12 is a jack of all trade auto shotgun. It’s everything an auto shotgun needs to dominate. Decent RPM, slow-ish reload speed, slow-ish walk speed, decent spread and range, and good amount of ammo. USAs-12 however is the official “room clearer” if the AA-12 don’t get rid of the camper in that room, the USAs-12 will. With a smaller spread, worst range, worst damage and a decent amount of ammo, in a small room, it’s impossible to not kill the camper. The higher rpm will guarantee a kill even though it’s not a 1 shot kill. AA-12 will still be the mother of all shotgun, but USAs-12 is a gun to be feared in a tight space, just like a flamethrower.

Imagine if they added the ao-63 with 850-6000 rpm and since it’s an ak it could also have buckshot cuz it’s phantom forces and nothing makes sense.

When i was playing metro, some guy joined witg usas and did mass murder,he had 105 kills 12 deaths....

I personally like the AA-12 but I think it's safe to say that the USAS-12 is a monster, despite it's uncontrollable recoil for some users, the ROF and damage equals to a burst shotgun.

Aa12 becuz the firerare is too fast for the usas and it will use more amo and since it's a shotgun you only need just one bullet to kill one person. Aa12 has better mass murder too

usas12 is for skilled players who understand distances by looking at target but aa12 is great for beginers better at ranges good firerate basically best shotgun to prebuy
