@@MrScar665 Not familiar with the CZ, shame about the ammo. This one runs well with just about everything except Aguila SSS Sniper Subsonics, they just don't have enough a$$ to operate the action reliably.

@@MrScar665 Whoa, just looked it up, that CZ is a nice lookin pistol. Is the reliability inherent to the design, or is yours just one of the lucky ones?

@@pewpewreview5043 Yeah. It has a lot of interesting design solutions. Very low bore axis, super light trigger and really front heavy barrel. Shoots exactly like you would imagine a CZ's .22 would. I fed it some Chez S&B ammo today but just wouldn't eat it right. It cycles higher velocity ammo just fine tho. I don't know anyone besides me that has it and can't really find much about it online.

AAC's recommendation was to take the barrel / suppressor assembly off and completely submerge it in Kroil. I use a piece of 2" or 2 1/2" PVC pipe that is about 10" or 12" long and capped on one end filled with Kroil and just drop the whole assembly into the tube. I'll let it sit for a day or so (you don't have to let it sit this long) then run a bore brush through the barrel, but not the baffles (DO NOT USE PATCHES INSIDE THE SUPPRESSOR) then return it to the Kroil to let any fouling disseminate and sink to the bottom of the PVC tube. You can let it sit for longer or go ahead and remove it, then shake it out or blow it off with compressed air, then reassemble. I briefly cover this in another video showing my disassembly process of this pistol. The cleaning part is mentioned about the 7:30 mark of this video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zFVROnwUdvI.html Not sure how many rounds it's rated for, but I've put probably 20,000 through mine and it's still ridiculously quiet. You can see some wear on the baffles when shining a flashlight through it, but it doesn't seem to have much effect on the sound suppression.

AWC, not AAC made the Amphibian back in the day starting with the MK II, but I think it continued with the MK III and MK IV. I had forgotten about the Victory, and don't recall too much about them.

@@pewpewreview5043 I think you're right. I googled "AAC Amphibian" and got "AAC Amphibian II"... but I think it might be mislabeled (if you search "AWC Amphibian" you'll get a lot more results and it's the same gun as the "AAC Amphibian"). I always thought it was AAC, so when it showed up in my search for "AAC Amphibian", I automatically accepted it as if it was true (confirmation bias maybe?). All great guns (Buck Mark, Victory and the Rugers). In all honesty, If I had to choose one over the other's, I'm not sure which one I'd choose. (Assuming they're all equal as far as options/accessories).

@@deucedeuce1572 I hadn't thought about the Amphibian in a long time, but it appears that it is still available from AWC for about $1,800 with a customer supplied gun.

@@pewpewreview5043 A Browning is not that cheap as a 22 and sure the modified model is a big mark up. Mind saying what it cost total?

@@gvet47 I bought it a long time ago and don't recall offhand. I do remember them being sold for a bit more than MSRP, so I would probably say between $1,000 and $1,250 for the pistol. The NFA fees, grips and sights probably added another $400.

They are Rosewood right handed target grips that were made by Browning. I purchased them directly from Browning around 2006 / 2007, but they have been discontinued. In parts of the video you can see the logo on the lower portion of the left grip panel
