Absolutely brilliant, this clip confirms the brilliance of Aafia Siddiqui over 20 years ago at a young age. What a crying shame her full potential could not be realised as a result of her brutal incarcaration, torture and subsequent imprisonment. The Pakistan Government have sold this daughter of the Ummah, she is a true gem,a valuable asset and someone who would have made a huge difference to the women of Pakistan and the world. Let us continue in our efforts in the struggle for her freedom.

InshaAllah I can become like her, I reverted 2 years ago and I am learning a lot about being a woman in Islam, and I love how in Islam we have more rights than in ANY other Religion.

Forget Not It was narrated from Masrooq that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “Faatimah came walking in the manner of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘Welcome, O my daughter.’ Then he seated her to his right or to his left, then he said something privately to her and she wept. I said to her, ‘Why are you weeping?’ Then he said something privately to her and she smiled. I said, ‘I have never seen anything like that which I have seen today, of joy so close to grief.’ I asked her what he had said, and she said, ‘I would not disclose the secret of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).’ When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) passed away, I asked her and she said, ‘He told me, “Jibreel used to review the Qur’aan with me once every year, but this year he has reviewed it with me twice, so I know that my appointed time (of death) is approaching. And you will be the first of my family to join me.” So I wept. Then he said, “Would it not please you to be the leader of the *women of Paradise or the women of the believers?”* So I smiled.’” (Al-Bukhari)
Her story is so heart touching and it makes me sad in tears😢 😢. May Allah send His blessings on you, Aafia sister. May Allah finish your tortures and grant you with His Jannah. Ameen

Guys before you post any hate commemt about her please go through her case for once. She has been arrested and detained since 2003 in US custody, but the crime she was charged for took place in 2008. Doesnt that says it all? She wasnt allowed to talk about her 5 years period in jail (2003- 2008) in the court room. And if you really think US handle her case in the most justified manner then lets hope that you and your loved ones get the same justice system that she got. You have nothing to worry about just pray that you and your loved ones end up in that kind of court, with that kind of judge and that kind of jury, that she ended up with.

Be careful to speak against her. According to US law, a murderer is jailed for 20 years only (US citizen) this what known to me. Why Aafia is given with 86 year prison? She did not do any thing like that, if she attempted to fire but no one killed or hurt due to that. Then why she jailed so long and abused too much??????? There is something special against her. She was an extra-ordinary student.
Because murder and act of terror is both different things if all accusations are wrong then why ISIS demand her release in exchange of reporter this lead to suspicious 🤨

How are you so sure of her innocence? Why do think the US would be after her if she had no terrorist connection? Terrorist organisations like IS and Al Qaeda have asked US to free her in exchange of some captives, isn't this questionable according to you.

In this day and age Aafia is most certainly the perfect role model and an inspiration par excellence. She is a living martyr and it is an indictment on those responsible for this "Rose of the Ummah" wilting away. Allah has not forsaken her and will take to task those responsible for her plight. At the very least, remember our sister in our Duas.
