I don't like to comment on public post about Joyti. She's the best singer of Tagore song I heard ever before that touching my heart all the time. Her voice take me above and above the real world. I always felt in nostalgia whenever I heard her song. Congratulations Joyoti. May almighty keep you alive as long as the world exist through your vocal sound. Wishing her all the best.

I only chanced to hear this voice in a T.V.show a few years ago,then I don't know even her name.So I took a snap from t.v.and went to a audio shop to know the very name.My most favorite song in her voice is "MAJHE MAJHE TABA DEKHA PAAI".I wish if I could meet her once.With Regards

This comment itself is very "Biroktikor". Some people have no musical sense, they are just stuck up in their old days and refuse to move ahead. Because of these people, Rabindranath was confined to a remote obscure corner and we had missed this genius for so long. There is a word in Bengali for those type of people .."Kupomonduk". The Guitar and the other music is heavenly and added a new dimension to the song. Probably Tagore himself wanted this and not be confined in age old "cliché".
My musical sense was thankfully not learnt from you. I appreciate a good voice which Jayati certainly has and it doesn't need the support of heavy supporting hands like a stake holding up a drooping flower that many singers unfortunately need today. And I detest the overload of accompanying music in this song. Your taste of course is loaded in favour of loud and you obviously don't know where to stop. I prefer music to be more subtle. Goda lokera subtlety bujhte paare na. Eta taader dosh noy.
Eto guitar ebong other hands bebohar bondho korun ba komiye din please. Eto sundar golata obhabe pechhone thele deben na please. Janina current generation etai pochhondo kore kina. But the accompanying music is a little overbearing. Besh biroktikar. Ektu chepe dewa uchit ogulo. No insult meant to the accompanyists. But this voice deserves just a sarengi and a Hawaiian guitar. Nothing else.
Totally nonsensical....please don't pass comment like this...everybody will say you have no sense of music....yes the musical arrangement is loud and not proper but rendition is superb
