Do we get to chose who we will be in our next life time, but we just forget once we're actually reborn? I loved your question. This is very important question you have asked. We don't get to choose who we will be in our next life.. our Karma will decide whether we get human body again or born in different bodies. There are 84million different Species. Our Karma will decide our next body. But there is still hope if anyone wants to reborn as human. How??? First of all we need to understand the purpose of the human body. Our human body is the only body that can help us come out of the cycle of birth and death. The person who has clearly understood this purpose will use their human body to gain Spiritual Knowledge from Pure Scriptures/ Discourses and starts using their mind -body-soul for worshipping God. And keep one life Goal in their mind that… I want to PLEASE God. That's the TOP priority for my life. The person who chooses to use this human body to worship God and follow all the commands of God to become Pure, so he/she can live with God forever in His company has 99% chance to reborn as human again. And we reborn in human body only for that same purpose again. Say if you were human in your last birth and you knew your purpose and you worshipped God day and night keeping God center of your life all the time but time ran out and you died. And Your journey was in complete. આપણે અનંત જન્મોથી ભટકી રહયાં છીએ. સાગરમાં જેટલું પાણી છે એટલું માતાનું ધાવણ આપણે ધાવ્યું છે. આપણે દરેક જન્મમાં સગાં- સંબંધીઓ બનાવ્યા છે. કેવળ ભગવાન સાથે જ સંબંધ બાંધ્યો નથી. અને જયાં સુધી આત્મા-પરમાત્માનો સંબંધ strong નહીં થાય, bonding અને connection ભગવાન સાથે નહીં વધે ત્યાં સુધી આ સંસારમાં આવન- જાવન ચાલુ રહેશે. કોઈકવાર દેવતા- કોઈકવાર મનુષ્ય- કોઈકવાર પશુ- પક્ષીના શરીરો પ્રાપ્ત કરતાં રહેશું. પણ અંત નહીં આવે. આવા અનાદીકાળ ચાલ્યા ગયા છતાં આપણે એનું એ જ પુનરાવર્તન જીવન જીવી રહ્યાં છીએ. અને ધ્યેયને ઓળખી શકયા નથી. મનુષ્ય જન્મનો એક જ ધ્યેય છે કે મોહ-માયાનો ત્યાગ કરી' આસક્તિ રહિત થઈ ' નિયમ-ધર્મ પાળી' આ દુ:ખાલય દુનિયામાંથી વિદાય લઈ પરમાત્માના દિવ્ય ધામમાં ગતિ કરીએ. આના માટે..મનુષ્ય દેહ જ એક છટકબારી છે. કેમકે મનુષ્ય જ કર્મભૂમિ પર કર્મ કરી પોતાના ધ્યેયને પામી શકે છે. બીજું કોઇ પ્રાણી કે દેવતા મનુષ્ય શરીર દ્વારા થઈ શકે એવા કર્મો કરી શકતાં નથી અને ધ્યેય પણ સાધી શકતાં નથી. ભગવાને બિરુદ આપ્યું છે કે મારા જનને અંતકાળે જરૂર તેડવા આવવું , બિરુદ મારું નવ બદલે , તે સર્વે જનને જણાવવું. એ બિરુદ પુરુ કરવા ભગવાન સ્વામિનારાયણ જરૂર આવશે અને આપણા આત્માને દિવ્યદેહ પ્રદાન કરી તેમનાં રથમાં કે વિમાનમાં બેસાડી તેમનાં દિવ્ય- અલૌકિક અક્ષરધામમાં આપણને લઈ જશે. અને આપણને અક્ષરમુકતની પદવી પ્રાપ્ત કરાવશે. અત્યારે આ લોકમાં છીએ ત્યારે ભગવાનની અનન્ય સત્સંગ ભકિત અને સેવા કરવાનો અભ્યાસ કરી લઈએ જેથી આપણું મન પણ અલૌકિક ભક્તિથી ટેવાય જાય અને આ લોકની બધી વાસના અહીં જ બાળી નાખીને દિવ્યરૂપ થઇને ભગવાનના ધામમાં પ્રવેશ કરી શકીએ. ભગવાનનો અને ગુરુનો કોટિ કોટિ વંદન અને પ્રણામ સાથે આભાર માનીએ કે આપણાં જીવનમાં તેઓ આવ્યા અને આપણાં હૃદયમાં તેમના માટે ખરો પ્રેમ જગાડયો. આવા કળિયુગમાં આવી શુધ્ધ ઊપાસના અને ભક્તિ આપી. આવી શુધ્ધ ભકિત- ઉપાસના- સત્સંગ કરતાં કરતાં અને બીજાને સત્સંગ કરાવતાં કરાવતાં આ દુનિયામાંથી વિદાય લઇએ અને એવી ભકિત કરીએ કે આપણી આસપાસ આવનારા દરેકને એ ભક્તિનો રંગ લાગે અને તેઓ પણ સાચા સત્સંગી ભકત બની શ્રેષ્ઠ આત્યંતિક કલ્યાણના માર્ગને પામે. આપણે એવું જીવન જીવી જઈએ. જય શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ.
