Just learned about this song from Lailah Lynn & just listening to this for the 1st time is bringing tears to my eyes 😢😢😢 Lailah was right! This sounds like she WAS describing her time with HIM!!! #Devastated 😢😢😢
🤦🏾♀️Man y'all dumb! y'all will believe anything! 🤦🏾♀️ this song came out after Aaliyah's passing She wasn't talking about no Damn Pissy Kelly y'all get on my nevers!
I just find out that this song was about her relationship with R.Kelly . What she is saying is that , R.kelly was abusing her when she was 15 years old. He would handcuff her to the bed , beat her , and accuse her of leaving him . She had sign an agreement with r.kelly that she wouldn't say anything about thier relationship , the abuse and the pregnancy and the marriage. When she was 19 years old when she met Timberland and Missy. She told them about the rocky relationship between her and R.Kelly . So Timberland wrote this song for her to speak on the abuse and the controlling of R.kelly. I always loved her and she inspired me to sing and dance. Thank you babygirl. You are missed... 🌹❤🙏🏽
Im here because i was searching for aaliyah's song .. i saw a video about aaliyah and r kelly.. damn i didnt know from all this years this song was about him... she didnt deserve this.
R.Kelly needs to be locked up..i am in tears Aaliyah baby girl you didn't deserve none of that.I wish you were still here ;I REALLY see how the system fails women of color ..meaning they are treated so wrong especially if they are beautiful..and it's sad ..R.Kelly got get locked up
I loved this song when it came out. I was 10 years old. Even then I found the lyrics quite dark. I always wondered why would someone cuff you but still claim to love you?
Im european but my partenal grand dad is north african half west african so I used to heard the original song it's an north african classic, I love this sample aaliyah voice is so beautiful. Rip
I remembered listening and liking this song many times years ago with NO idea of it actually meaning something; until after watching Lailah Lynn's video about Aaliyah. I listened to the song again as soon as I had finished watching LL's video and... I don't know what else to say instead of "wow" to be honest - 🙊😢💐.
We all beings that continuously get older while her prime legacy stays that way forever. History writes itself. How we lived is more important than how we died. How many women died the way Aaliyah did? Too many, but Aaliyah is famous for how she lived not how she died so how u gonna live is how u gonna be remembered.
WTF dislked anything by AAliyah? Foh! I am so pissed that the streaming services are missing this album! Spotify has it but of course, this SONG IS MISSING and it was my fav!
Came on here to read her lyrics related to R.kelly n his disgusting ways! Wtf. She couldn’t talk about it thro disclosure forms but... timberland wrote this for her.. as she told him an missy the 411!!! 🧐🙌🏽Miss you Aaliyah bby girl rest in peace 💞💜🙌🏽 god bless xxx
When you used to love this song as a kid but find out it was about r Kelly the whole time ? R Kelly's ass needs to be in jail he's a disgusting disgrace of a human being smh rip aaliyah.
I knew be sooo in love with this song on this album. Until I found it was allegedly about her and RK😢It send chills down my spine when listening to it now 🎧 R.I.P. BabyGirl 🕊️🥺
Yep... this shit about kelly. What's done in the dark comes to light. Everything she signing about is the same shit these ladies talked about he did to them. Damn
People saying this song about her relationship with rkelly... she neither wrote nor co wrote this song, it's simply a song about an insecure man. Many females can relate, let's just enjoy it as a good song people. Xx
shenaiye brown she signed a non disclosure when their marriage got Annulled therefore even if she did call Rite this song she couldn’t take credit for it because it would be breaking the contract that she had signed and I am more than sure it was also her way of letting him know what it is as well without getting her hands dirty
Bruh this song has nothing to do with r Kelly…..it’s not not even about physical abuse it’s about cheating and not being faithful and real but he want her to give him her all
This song has nothing to do with Robert y'all need to stop reaching. This song is inspired by Warda Batwanness Beek....Do ya research first before y'all start assuming👊🏽✊🏾💔🕊Fly High baby girl
