Makes me wonder why they had to go all the way to Bahamas to shoot the video when most of the video was green screen and the beach scene could have been shot in Miami as well.
I remember watching this video so much I learned the dance. Aaliyah was special and I am glad I got the chance to experience her as a fan in real time before she passed away. I pray for comfort and peace for her family, friends, and fans.
As a Aaliyah fan I feel like Aaliyah and her Music career was really ahead of her music that she was doing in 2001 and that babygirl is died it so different without her now rip Aaliyah May she rest in peace
@@cortezmiller1899 Did you watch the making of rock the boat? Fatima choreographed the video herself and did 1 on 1 with Aaliyah solo dance scene and Fatima is Jamaican. I did not see Aaliyahs father wining barefoot in the sand showing Aaliyah how to dance during video shoot, it was Fatima. IDK who Derek Lee is.
Sometimes it doesn’t make sense how they had to go far just to film in an island and the water boat scene and hype Williams took her jet plane that was meant for her and that none of her family went with her. Hype Williams never made a comment on her death or doesn’t talk about her. but the video was so beautiful. ❤️ rest easy Aaliyah

Remember, Megan thee stallion's cash sh*t video was supposed to come out when she first came out, and it never did. but guess who directed it? Hype Williams. I feel like anyone who comes in contact with hype Williams, gets duped. Hype Williams during the filming of rock the boat mentioned anger issues and made me feel uncomfortable, you barely saw him after that and even before in regard to the BTS of the RTB. smh
Well we have to be careful not to spread gossip unsubstantiated just because we are in pain. There's no evidence to prove Hype took her plane and refused to let her use it. What would be the motive for that? Just cause he doesn't talk about it doesn't mean he's guilty o anything.
Even though people are saying she should have stayed in Florida to avoid the plane crash in the Bahamas, I feel like it wouldn’t prevent her from having an accident later on, because of the way celebrities/singers travel she was one of the people more prone to plane crashes because of traveling, and if she never had gone in a plane crash, it would have been something else, you can’t prevent what you can’t see coming.
Might I also add, that it was jus a twist of fait. Yes she cud hav filmed the whole video, in Miami. So many beautiful beaches there. But that’s not where it was filmed. The Bahamas was the chosen destination. We jus gotta accept at sum point, that it was “her time”. And that’s how it goes. May her soul continue to rest, for all eternity 🕊️🙏🏾

I forgot his name. But he’s been on BET. But to add to wat ur sayin, it is crazy. How this is the one video where we are actually wit her behind the scenes, the entire time. We see her personality. Not the “cool”, mysterious Aaliyah we got in all her other videos. It’s also the only video where she’s actually in “light”. All her videos prior were dark. Except for this one. We got to see her fully in rare form. No sunglasses or anything hiding her. It’s crazy how fait is. I think it was strategically done this way. Not by her or her crew, of course. But jus divinely, becuz she was soon goin home to be wit the higher power. So that was a treat for us. To see her in light and in rare form. She went out wit a bang. It always was and will always be a very beautiful video. And she indeed was and will always be a very beautiful girl. May she continue to rest, in all eternity 🕊️🙏🏾

why is a dead person in the blogs everyday learn wat rest in peace means she’s not coming back except it my mother and father gone my bother was a professional painter he fell off a tall building lived about 2 weeks in the hospital then died my brother came in town for the funeral he was a pallbearer 2 weeks later he fell dead from pneumonia .except wat can’t be changed and move on.
So when people miss somebody that passes away they can remember them by looking at Picture & Videos of them when they were living & never forget them and tell there story to there Family,Friends & new generation. Sorry for your Lost
