@@cortezmiller1899 before because if ONE IN A MILLION dropped in 1996 ( they said the lyrics was to graphic for the age she was at... so much for that being "JUST A NUMBER") and Treye milli statement on his twitter showing "Aaliyah" 3rd album was from recorded from 1998- 2001 and my information came from the Dec 2008 vibe mag and another: i remember when seats said it was more a mistake and because of static he kept it, the song was in raw stages with a hook static wrote in 10 minutes while he was in the bathroom, before SEATS embellish it with the help of "dave forman and rapture stewart"... this was written at least 2 years before it came out and static and the crew started written and working of 1997-1998... and Aaliyah said it was done in 1999 before the ball drop and we all know Production on Queen of the Damned began in October 2000 while it was being finished from 2000 -2001 and everything after was for the 4th album and other projects to come i guess, or more like a vault full of unreleased shit. Raymond says her and static was an item also, thats when Aaliyah and static had grown closer for a minute... i searched the dark web on her plus I've spent money i shouldn't had on things that was NOT given in full or completed with her name stamped before any other word... i bet you didn't know Aaliyah was nOt keen on recording every song static placed in her hand. ( Ex: Try Again & Are You That Somebody ) and lets not forget them songs are off what album again???yes static wrote ROCK THE BOAT sometime before but not during the one in a million era with timberland and missy, because he was just that GREAT and ahead of his time and please remember Aaliyah's mother listened over it all and made sure the explicit level wasn't met or it was vaulted. She postponed the 3rd album from dropping in 1999 so that she could film Romeo Must Die. The songs she recorded were scrapped except for I Don’t’ Wanna which ended up on Romeo Must Die soundtrack and Next Friday soundtrack. She started recording the 3rd album again in summer/fall 2000 when she was filming Queen of the Damned. By the time the red album dropped she was already filming The Matrix sequels hence why her label had her filming videos back to back. The label was trying to make sure they had the videos shot before her schedule got tightened even further. It had been 5 years since her last album and they were trying to capitalize off the massive success of Try Again. I don’t think her red album era was rushed. I think they were just trying to keep up with everything make sure they’re prepared.

@@DreThomasMusici believe it was rushed because their is still a vault of music that we never will hear, ( trust me their is a lot of shit i know you never heard from remixes to clips of things she just never FINISHED, and all the leaked stuff isn't anything to what she has locked away thats completed.) she recorded and toured her whole career, LOCK HOW TIRED SHE WAS DURING THE MCM /PARIS FOOTAGE!!! its shocking how many clips are found here and there of THE GREAT AALIYAH... that you refer to as " PREPARED", just like her uncle was "prepared to collect off her name & career in a whole". (yeah maybe that was all 'prepared' as well, fyi NO ONE WAS "PREPARED FOR AALIYAH") shit... Hopefully when r-kelly is removed from earth his shit will be leaked along with the tracks him and Aaliyah did that never touched THE light of Day.🙂
