Absolutely man, very blessed. I wish I could of been around to hear live and see but unfortunately I wasn't, but I'm glad there are platforms I can discover her music 🙏😊
Yeah sad times we live in... Music like this that touches your heart and soul aren't mainstream these days... This used to be the norm back then (for RnB and other genres😢)... Don't know if you're familiar with her discography but if you want to hear her more gentle soft spoken side in some of her ballads (they're plenty of them), there is "Turn The Page". It has a more "poppy" side to it as well a vulnerability and sincerity that strikes you IMMEDIATELY once you hear it.
Oh damn that sounds great! I'll be sure to check that out! I'm loving her music 😊 And your speaking facts, music not the same but I'm glad we have music from back then for people like me to discover and other people to reminisce 🤝
Shoutout to you for pronouncing her name correctly💪🏾 You sound Australian. Not sure if you are but she was actually in Australia for 5 months working on her film, "Queen of the Damned," & her 2001 self titled album while there. She was thinking of going back for the next album because Australia was a vibe for her and her team but...🙏🏾 RIP. But this song is her highest charting single from her sophomore album. It peaked at #9 on BBH 100. Written by Diane Warren who also wrote Toni Braxton's hit single "Unbreak My Heart". The rain scene in this video messed up Aaliyah's boots and she said the rain was cold. They filmed an extra scene for this video that was completely unused but you can find that footage here on youtube. Aaliyah had an awesome personality, bro. You should check out MTV's RU-vid upload of "Aaliyah in Paris" to see how much of a dope person she was. Keep the Aaliyah reactions coming, bro!
Yeah I saw the video on how to properly pronounce it, glad I did. And yess your right! I'm Australian and that's awesome she liked Australia and filmed here as well! Was such a good song, I really enjoyed it!

Yeah, I wish I could have been around at an older age to hear her music live or see her but unfortunately didn't happen, but I'm glad she got to leave an impact on earth with her music and passion
