And still she has left such an impact almost 20 years since she passed. And will continue to inspire and influence generations of artists today, tomorrow and forever. #RIPAaliyah ⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
@Bob Will The many different sounds heard in R&B today. Alternative, laid back trap sounding R&B. Also her fashion style, makeup/lipstick in her likeness released, and her second album now is listed as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time by _Rolling Stone_ and a wax figure at Madame Tussauds.
The pain of Aaliyah not being here still hurts. Her legacy will live forever and other aspiring singers will continue to be influenced by her. Rest in Paradise Queen ❤️❤️
It’s weird being 21 and seeing how young she was when her music was being released . Like damn she was 15-22 ??? As a kid she seemed older and now that I’m an adult it still feels like she was older than that. She was so mature !!!!
I’m quite older now than she was when she died. She doesn’t seem as someone younger than me in the interviews done in 2000 and 2001. In fact, I can think of some celebrity in their 30s and I don’t see any difference between their behaviour and her behaviour in the very last years of her life.
If she was with us now only she would be 41 but she's would be a billionaire too and helping people cause she has a huge, caring and loving ❤ but God knows what was best for her.
I miss her.... I would have loved to see how she would've killed the music game today. Soo talented, beautiful, a songbird before her time & gone too soon. My angel.... love you sis ❤
i miss her so much and the music i could always count on Aaliyah to give us something fresh and different she was getting better and better within time in all areas
Aaliyah was a woman before her time had moves before her time and moves "Be Yawn Ce" Knowles tried her damdest to imitate. Gone much much too soon ☹😒😔😥🙏🙏🙏
Nobody tried to be her you can see Aaliyah's influence in Justine Skye, Ciara, Tinashe, I don't understand why people put one artist down in favor of another nobody copies Aaliyah other artists can be inspired by her Ciara embodies her more than anybody else ever did and she isn't copying her she paying tribute.
@@musiclover-cn7tb Then you must not to see that other people can also have an opinion without another person getting bent out of shape over it. This is my opinion and my perogative. I'm not asking you to share it🤔🙄😏
I thought I was the only one to call her that!! 🤣🤣🤣 Aaliyah was poised, had class, and was humble. I still don’t understand her untimely death. BeYAWNce will reap what she sow. Because she definitely had something to do with Aaliyah’s death. She wanted fame too much. She was tacky, country, unoriginal, and classless. And now she still isn’t satisfied. Aaliyah said it, it’ll be a long time before someone like her comes around again. ALL the greats loved Aaliyah. You can’t say that for many.
@@jacquelinerussell8530 It's not opinion when your trying to pass it off as fact. So stop tryna hide behind the word "opinion" because your attempt at spewing so called facts was flawed. Just say y'all obsessed with Beyonce and be done with it
@@tgirl1762 Neg i was giving my opinion I never said it was fact or invited you to do the research. Dont get it twisted and please check yourself before you continue to wreck yourself. Now that part is indeed fact 😳🙄😏👍
At 1:31 when she finishes answering the question with "and I Love Swimming", I swear she is so cute at that expression my Lord it is something so beautiful about her. RIP AALIYAH
First met Aaliyah at my store in mid 90's downtown Detroit, MI along with her mother and they looked just like twins. We shaked hands and she was very down to earth, genuine & beautiful. Still miss her in 2020 ....Rest In PowRA Queen 👑❤🔥
Ill never forget at 14 years old when my mom told us that Aaliyah had died in a plane crash. It was like someone hit me right in the stomach. I'm not going to front like I was a huge fan of Aaliyah when she was alive, but her sudden tragic death deeply saddened and troubled me even at that age.
Bill Clinton was looking at Aaliyah like 😛👀👁😛....and Hillary was like 🙄🤨😑........ aaliyah said" you could see the passion in his eyes"...it wasnt the type passion she thought it meant.🤣🤣 but Hillary knew.
Can’t believe it’s now been 20 years since Aaliyah left us she’s sooo missed and was Way Ahead of her time she had a lot of Values and so much Talent even after 20 years later I’m so glad she’s still getting her flowers for her singing career and most of all her acting career We’re still here BabyGirl Your Legacy Will Continue to Shine Continue to Rest In Peace BabyGirl 🙏🏿❤️🕊🥺🌹

We love you Aaliyah You don't know how much we misses you now this day and years to come knowing you're only here in spirits I feel Beyonce wouldn't be where she's act if you were still here You were number one performanced tremendously God knows I wish you were still with us I truly do Your entertainment never called for you to be half ass naked up on a stage That's how much we enjoyed you Aaliyah!
I'm never getting over her demise it hurt just watching this makes me sad that she didn't get to enjoy the labor of her talent...rest up baby girl...you are for ever missed 💖👑🏆😭
Yall just dont get it. Back in the 80s and 90s, the stars were more than just celebrities. You actually felt like you knew them due to the way marketing was done back then. Aaliyah always seemed like that cool cousin or the cool girl in the neighborhood that EVERYONE loved. Miss her dearly.
You have it backwards social media now makes it feel like you know celebrities because you get to see them in their homes on a regular day anytime you login. Back in the day the only time you got to see celebrities was on tv or on stage at a show and if you were lucky you got to leave with a picture and a autograph.
@@tgirl1762 Right. Celebs had mystique back then. Now, the famous people are too much like everybody else, to the point that they don't feel special anymore. Like Whitney Houston. She was a star in the classic sense, but she lost something of her specialness and her mystique when she did "Being Bobby Brown." Shamone! She's WHITNEY HOUSTON, not some cheap reality star. But she became a laughingstock behind that.
