Well, i am an Indian in Canada and let me tell you that the Saskatchewan guy is 100% right about Desis mostly Indians (90%) majority Punjabis & Haryanvis ruining it for everybody. Earlier immigration was based on quality now the floodgates have been opened and people are coming with the same cultural baggage, same habits, no personal space, no civic sense and no personal hygiene. They don't even know how to fu**in drive on the road. Some can’t even frame a proper sentence in English. The amount of fraud being done in Punjab by agents and people alike just to reach Canada is just saddening. The wages are not growing due to the same problem and the native population is kind of helpless. If you are in Canada and open any social media(Tiktok, Reddit, Instagram or Facebook) natives are just bashing immigration and mostly immigrants from India coz of the same habits.
Canada was my dream country to move to back in 2016-17. During and after covid, all hell broke lose. Recently, I visited Delhi Airport to drop someone and all I could see were Jatt Punjabis leaving for most likely Canada (many international flights to the west were departing at the same time). Punjabis ruined Canada to the core. Now I think it's better to stay in India rather than moving to Canada. Canadian dream is nothing but a sham.

Unfortunately indian Punjab is not very developed like other states of India though it's very beautiful but not industrious like other states due to congress rule. That's only reason indian Panjabis want to get a secure feature. If they work India they even 1/6th they earn in Canada doing same thing.

The poor are helped by everyone from food, children’s education and marriage, health etc everything is taken care of by the rich, middle and lower classes. It’s the middle class that has the most difficulties but they are resilient enough to get along as best as possible.

Almost 70-80% of Li-ion batteries are coming from China as they were the first ones to go ahead of the curve and bought a lot of mines for cobalt in Africa and lithium in Chile and Argentina Corridor, where roughly 70% of lithium is extracted. Everyone in EVs is solely dependent on BYD and CATL batteries but western OEMs are now investing heavily in Samsung, LG, SK on to catch up with Chinese.

My dad wasn’t around much either growing up as he had to handle his full time job and businesses. He is a typical desi dad but he doesn’t act like this. He knows to give personal space to all our siblings and won’t interfere in everything we do in our lives as we are adults now. There is no excuse to this behavior.

I am an education consultant. And I agree so much with you on how easy it is to play around with students and miserable frustrated Pakistanis. I have heard so many stories where students have gone to CANADA, USA or Australia, and majority of PAkistanis are doing labour blue collar job. They have not excelled themselves and they have never put them above in the society. The policies are changing in these countries and becoming tough for all desis.

in Punjab if u accidently cross 200 unit u have to pay like 35pkr per unit , even in next month u shifted to 150 monthly unit still u have to pay 35pkr per unit for next 6 month.
