Khuda taala oonchay se ooncha muqaam ata karey. It is so ironic that whenever Maulvi shb sang 'Hum jo marain gay to royo na koi' that I wept the most.

Thanks to Dream Journey, I've come to know of Maulvi Haider Hassan Vehranwale; and I feel the richer for it. Kabir can be considered to be a hugely prolific composer and creator of ideas rendered into words and then into music. Kabir has also been described as a Spiritualist, but the more I listen to words attributed to him, I understand what a great Rationalist he was. Kabir is sung in so many languages and even more dialects that makes one think: was there only one Kabir? But that doesn't matter, since Kabir is both Universal and Eternal; and we are blessed that Musicians like these have carried him to us through the Ages.
