Very well done review. My AAP 01's have finally arrived and I am extremely pleased with them. Have you noticed that there is little to no rattle when you shake these pistols? The material appears to me to be a heavy duty nylon/polymer material that should hold up quite well. To me that means a very good design, good materials and quality control for a mass produced item. I would like to see a long term use review from you along with a detailed disassembly review. Action Army did hit it out of the park with this one.
@@Jeeps-ye5ct Im currently in the process of disputing it, I heard it could take a year. I ordered tons of airsoft replicas from Hong Kong and Taiwan to Canada so its pretty random if it gets seized. It mostly depends on if the customs agent is on his period. I paid for the upgrade barrel so they have no reason to not release it but our laws dont follow logic.
There already is alot of aftermarket parts currently available now. You got octagon airsoft/narcos that makes custom full cnc uppers, and cow cow that makes some glock stuff thats already compatible, then also on top of that this holds like most glock mags. The only part people havent recreated was the grip, I dont know why but it hasnt been done yet though sadly. Also forgot to mention that the aftermarket parts from action army, and you know they are gunna be pretty decent at the very least when they are action army parts.
Just ordered one of these 😊👍 Already ordered an upgraded hammer set. Can't seem to find a spare firing pin though. Likely going for your Waldo short stroke kit. Won't know about an inner barrel swap etc until I've seen what it's doing fps stock. Is the upgraded CowCow nozzle worth it or is it just a placebo effect? The CTM bolt is on my shopping list. Have I missed anything obvious? Do the autobot buckings only work with with the tti hopup for these or are they ok with stock AA hop unit? (asking because I put a 70 autobot in my new hicapa with stock WE hopup, and the fps dropped with every single shot thereafter).. not even consistent lower or higher figure, but actual large drop after each shot. No idea why, so I put the oem WE bucking back in and consistency is back.
Are you going to do a long term review on it? Like 1 month of ownership... really would want to know more on this pistols pontential specially cuz i want to use this as a snipers secondary
great breakdown! had a quick question...I'm familiar with glock 17/19/34 hammer assemblies, but haven't worked on an 18C before. Is the roller replaceable with a G17 roller?
Hey, fantastic video BTW. However, I have a question, what do you mean by you can get 3 to 4 mags out of it? I'm new to airsoft and am considering buying this pistol to start, but I am confused on whether you mean by one full bottle of gas or one full mag to be filled with gas, if it's the former then that's quite expensive to run, no? Thanks in advance for any help!
I was thinking of buying the aapo1. Can you give a description of why or what caused the issues with your AAP01, please. Because, I’m thinking you may have received a lemon and or your mags could be a manufactured defect There’s possibly a way to mitigate the issues of a non functional paper weight. lol
my mag can only spray 2 full clips without runing out of gas and my bbs keep rolling out of the chamber after I stop shooting what can i do to fix this and whats wrong with it
Can I use the 6mmProShop 50 Round Extended Magazine for Glock / BLU Series Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol which has a curved gas router and uses the vfc/tm gbb system?
Great review. I was just wondering what kind of mags work with the aap01. I know you mentioned TM and WE glock mags, but I've also heard people say its g-spec or something and I don't really know what that means. I also don't really have any gas pistols, so I'm unfamiliar with the different types of glock mags. Could someone tell me what kind of TM and WE mags work?
WE-Tech makes a Galaxy G-Series Gas Blowback pistols that can be found on airsoft station site. Google search and you’ll be directed to many sites for the WE-Tech Galaxy G-Series and read the info and do your own thorough research.
I bought this replica, but when i load the gaz in the mag, i can only shot 3 or 4 times until there is no gaz anymore. I'm absolutely new to gaz airsoft, can someone help me ?
Will this pistol take along barrel without sticking out the outer barrel? Something like the 133mm ML barrel? I heard some reviewers saying it’s be a good idea to swap out the barrel
Lovely review. I think you would get way more subscribers. I hate reviewers who seem all hyped up and only cover things shallowly. Do you have any idea of covering SSP-18?
Thank you for your comments! They're very sweet and just what I want for Waldo customs. As for the ssp18, I can't say it interests me enough to warrant reviewing it. It seems to be mainly a reskinned KJW Glock, nothing too exciting
im just getting in to airsoft before i even got a gun which was september i had to get a ASG MK23 Airsoft Pistol ( which they had to paint blue) i saw this gun and really want it but in the other colour but i didnt want them to spray it so ive got to wait till after the new year now as still only played 2 game in 2 mouths so i cant get licene i got a glock17 mark4 w off a friend (£110 with case) the thing i need to ask should i get one is it better than mk23 eg using as a snipper gun ??? i think that this gun is a lot better rang and built its just the sound differents??ive done all up grades to the mk23 but im still thinking this is a better gun apart from fred on the end for the silencer (but i think there now doing a metal top case so there will be a metal thred for the silence
Bought an TM MWS and a AAP-001 and the AAP was a lot better OOTB. Albeit the AAP is designed to be a perfect performer, compromising on realism, and GBBRS are designed to be fun to use/ realistic.
Know if only KJW would redesign the KC-02 to work with Glock mags, would make a lovely matching pair of Ruger ish Guns. :) Its not the cheapest Airsoft Glock style pistol, that would be the HFC, it isn't even Glock Style, it has limited compatibility with Glocks but isn't Glock Style. Sadly it isn't a Ruger MKIV either, would be nice if it was, but it is a nice Ruger MKIV / 22/45 style pistol. A true replica like the MArushin and KJW but in GBB form would be awesome. So close yet so far off, still a cool lil gun though.
