I really enjoyed this interview. It was calm and smooth in its own way. Aaron and the DJ seemed comfortable, and they were very respectful towards each other. You don't see many interviews like this now a days.
I like this interview. The interviewer seems quietly confident, and it seems more like a conversation between two people. He seemed to put Aaron at ease and it felt effortless.
What a great interview. They were so relaxed and Aaron really opened up. Aaron is so talented and seems very down to earth. I thought the Jeff Lynne reference was awesome. I was a huge ELO fan. Free Fallin is a great song too. C'mon Jeff reach out to Aaron!!
Long post for a long interview :P This is the most interesting interview about Awolnation that I have seen so far. It was awesome to hear Aaron's story, because thanks to that we can understand a lot more his soul, the person he is today and the background of the songs. I also love anecdotes :) I really think he's an amazing person, because of the hard times he's been through. During the interview, I was wondering: "Had it been me, would I still have had the courage to pursue my dream?" I shiver at this thought, and I fear the answer. He's an inspiration for everyone! I also think the interviewer, comparing himself to him, was trying to make him feel more at ease and be supportive. Now we can listen to the new album, Run, which is perfect to me. You finally found the right path Aaron, keep going! :)
AWOLNATION does make good music but saying other artists are shit is merely a matter of opinion. There are a lot of brilliant modern artists, along with a lot of shit.
Aaron deserves to have it all. Hard work should bring success and usually it does. Always strive to achieve your goals in life, never give up. Life is hard and can seem utterly ridiculous sometimes but you just have to keep at it.
Just got to see them live in Wichita. They're amazing! 32:06 I love being able to decide what each song means for myself. I relate to them better when there is no back story. I think it takes the music to a whole other level, which is really great. "The song is about a banana, is what I'm trying to say." :)

For Christ sake take it easy on the DJ, he keeps Aaron relaxed and gets him to tell stories we haven't heard before, that's the whole point anyway. It's really not that big a deal in the scheme of things that he didn't know one piece of rock trivia.
Instead of appreciating the beauty and what's interesting about the singer of AWOLNATION, you decide to insult the interviewer about something ridiculously trivial.
