I was in his corner rooting for him to better his life for his son. Fly high, Aaron. you're free of those demons.

I love this interview of him. That dude right there was the GENUINE AARON CARTER He was a loving person who unfortunately suffered with immense mental health issues. Understandably so given the level of hurt and pain and fame and judgement he was dealt. Aaron was a good sweet and loving guy. That is AARON CARTER

I love what he said at 4:37 that it's not just in show-business 'there's pressure with everybody and in each person's life'. He acknowledged that all people have problems, pressure, and stress in their lives, not just celebs, he didn't make excuses nor wanted special treatment. Very humble and lovely of him. Rest in peace, Aron.

This really does break my heart. I grew up with Aaron Carter. And watching Nick break down at the tribute the Backstreet Boys did for him, had me bawling. Mostly because I know that pain. I lost both of my brothers in the last six years. One to drug overdose and the other from serving in Iraq at the age of 17, he couldn’t sleep anymore, so he started Drinking heavily at night and his liver just couldn’t hold out. It’s just so heartbreaking when you lose someone you deeply love. Aaron truly wanted help, and he truly was putting the work in, to make his life better. As Nick said, I pray that Aaron finds the peace now that he could never find here on earth.

I never got in to his music, but from a human level feel so sad about his death. His downward spiral was on display for the world to see, and he clearly wasn’t surrounded by people with his best interests at heart. Underneath it all he seemed like a big hearted person. Hope he’s at peace now.

It killed me when he said people were making fun of him on Instagram and Twitter.....I felt that!!! 😭.....people need to do better...stop the hate and telling them something that they already know.. especially about their struggle...that's sick to make fun of someone! Look how it affects people!

I hope there's a lesson to be taken from this, and that we as a society learn it. Through all of the pain and false starts, Aaron was a constant advocate for mental illness visibility and de-stigmatization, and I truly believe that is what he would want his legacy to be.

God how much i wished he still had this mentality the last few years. I hope he's looking down and seeing how much he was really loved.

Hurts to hear this. My little 11 year old heart had the biggest crush on Aaron. Hard to hear he struggled this deeply and it’s so sad to see that he passed after finally getting a help and overcoming some of his struggles 💚🌹

My 1st cousin Joseph passed away secondary to his heroin addiction in 2010, at the age of 32 years. Nobody understands how hard addiction is, recovery, maintenance to prevent relapse. Rest in Peace Aaron. God bring peace , comfort to his family,friends

I really miss Aaron…. He was a part of my childhood, along with his brother Nick. It’s so sad that he is now gone but I’d like to think he is with his sister Leslie and his dad now. He is free.

When you deal with someone who severely had an addiction you have to distance yourself. He refused help toward the end. Addiction is a beast and now left other behind hurting

He needed help a long time ago. Why are people now trying to act like they hadn't just thrown him away? That's exactly what they did. He needed help and nobody came for him. He had so much to show us. He learned how to produce and his musical talent is undeniable. It's such a waste and it's not ok. God bless you Aaron, I am praying for you still and I hope you find the peace you deserved so long ago.

When he was clean he was friendly and likeable but when he did drugs he was nasty to people. I choose to remember the clean aaron and I hope that when his son grows up he can look at these interviews when aaron was sober and see what a normal person he was.

Ok…here is my Aaron Carter story…I always watched his lives and would say hi and one time I said “hey Aaron, I just want to let you know how much you meant to me in my childhood” and he turned off the music he was listening to, looked dead into the camera and said “I just want you to know how much you all mean to me…today…every single one of you.” And then turned the music back on. I know that sounds fake, but it’s true. RIP Aaron Carter. A sad day

I do feel like he loved quite hard. He needed the comfort of loyal people around him to support him and he could’ve also benefited from ongoing therapy due to a lot of trauma and loss. It’s all so sad for his son, his son is just gorgeous and will never truly know his father.

The ironic thing is I was just remembering and listening to your songs 2 days before your death and just feeling all nostalgic… who would have told me you were gone in 2 days. I saw you during your struggles, and somehow I feel like I should have done something to make you feel better…. But I know it couldn’t be so easy. Awe this is very very sad he looked very happy during the 2019 interview. I always kind of wondered if he suffered with an E.D. more times than not actually E.D's stem from feeling it if control and can alleviate anxiety or OCD. It's all so very sad. There was a lot of trauma in his childhood as well . I pray he found Peace

The fact of the matter is that Aaron struggled with drug addiction. Xanex, opioids, whip it's. Prescription pills. He didn't have an eating disorder, he wasn't being honest in this interview. He does look sober and healthy here. He needed to heal and be in therapy long term. Sadly, his addiction issues took his life. I wish he could've recovered and I wish he would've been honest with himself to admit he was an addict.

I didn't realize he was bisexual. They say that a lot of LGBT folks end up idolizing other LGBT folks growing up...and I think that's why I was such a big fan of him. He really helped me get through that period in my life when I was facing homophobic bullying on a daily basis. I used his music to escape. It really saddens me to think he wasn't able to escape in the end. RIP ❤️

Even a simple picture of grill out that he's proud to share, people called him homeless and karma. For sure it's the same people who preach about humanity, peace, love blahblah. I really hate the hyprocisy of people. If you hate a person, sure, hate them all you want then please do move on with your life. But to be that obsessed to leave hateful words in everything Aaron posted that's just crazy. Easy for you to hate and be clean because you're not the one dealing with demons.
