Last 41 games he's on a 162 game pace of 83 HR, 194 RBI and 170 Runs with a .401 average. That's basically a quarter season worth of games. I looked at the all.time leaders recently and he's top 15 in Slugging and OPS and has the second fewest AB/HR in history. Ahead of Babe and behind steroid cheat McGwire. He legitimately is one of the most impressive sluggers of all time.

BTW, he hit his 25th tonight and upped his pace from 56 homers to 59.5

I hate the people just assume that because he's hitting so well he must be cheating... He was hitting like this in high school and college and could have been in the majors for earlier if he hadn't chose to go to college. They also test so regularly that he can't be cheating with PEDs so... I also hate how people say that Yankee stadium is a little league ballpark just because it has one short porch because he hits some out at center field and left field as well and they are actually further back than a lot of stadiums plus he sends them out at every stadium so...
