The people that only care about the country part of his career don’t understand the rawness of the screams. The certain points in the song when he decides to do it. When I listen to the song, if I wanted to scream those would be the parts. Some people are blessed with only liking the songs, but for those of us that relate to this one that are still in a fight, don’t ever give up.
I wonder if Aaron has watched this one? I wish he would cut a studio version with screaming like this. This song takes me back to the early days of Staind.
COLDisWICKED Thank you. I had a gut intuition to record this song that night. I just posted it but I'd like to think it should get some plays. Many thanks to Aaron for doing this version that night!!
Kamiryn Hernandez yeah I know. But this is definitely a country version of the original song. And then he added screams to it that to me sound out of place. Just pointing that out. I know it was originally a rock song. It’s still weird to slow it down and scream to it in my opinion.
@@augustbaptiste9001 I can suggest the band "Those Poor Bastards", then. They combine country, gothic metal, and doom metal, and the two songs I've heard so far have a lot of screaming.
