I've been drinking liquor daily for months. I traveled 250 miles to see my daughters and was left in the dark. I called, went there, left notes, and nothing happened. My truck completely broke down on my way home and had to kiss it goodbye. I rode a greyhound and it took 14 hours to travel what would usually be 4. Anyways, I've been messing up since then. Sucks

I'm a 36 year old man. When I heard this the first time, I hit my knees and bawled like a baby. When you realize what this song means, it hits you like a million lightning bolts. The love of my life and I are still together but yet I miss her. I'm so lonely. I constantly hurt her in ways it feels I have no control of. All I want to do is make her smile and laugh. She's my everything. It kills me I can't or it feels like I can't give her happiness anymore. Yet she won't leave my side. I just need to know she still loves me. I'm a good hearted man. Faithful, loyal, work hard, but I have demons. Everyone does. They always say if you love someone, set them free. If they come back, it's meant to be. My names bubba im a recovering addict/alchoholic Update 7 months later..im clean and sober..i have not had any cravings or wants or used pills since the end of summer and i live in montana lol we still have snow alot too..i got clean for a few weeks and slipped up and this and that...fought it and finally just said im done...i cant do it no more...i feel so much better now..i love to wake up...lol any recovering addict will tell you...waking up sucks...not anymore..im getting back to normalish..i struggled with alchohol...not like beating the kids..and wife and loosing jobs and shit but like having a few everyday to not have to address small problems i was having with myself...i was basically self medicating i guess is the terminology...and that didnt work out too good...to be honest im a big guy who likes shit food too..so ive been putting my freetime focus to singin along to aaron lewis videos here on youtube...and work...we had a shitty year last year i wont get into it..but my family got fucked around alot last year which i wpuld jusitify and degrade my addictions and lack of concentation and empathy..but its all slowly working out with working out..working...spending time with the family..saving money like crazy to hopefully goto aaron lewis concert here in june..baby sitters aint cheap and we had a rough year...anyways this aint my vlog and aaron lewis..if for some dumb reason you ever read this or hear about it...thanks bud..thanks for what you do...the sacrifices youve taken..to do this for us to help us through these times...thats country ...to me at least....helpin someone even if it means you gotta make sacrifices...i grew up down one of them old dirt roads.... I suffer from severe Anxiety and depression and I've drank my life away for the past 7 years. I've been alive for 26 years and I cant say I remember the last 4 years. Alcohol is my way out of panic and anxiety. I've cheated on my girlfriend of 8 years, I've betrayed her and left her when her and my son looked up to me. But being lost and lonely in your head does something to you. It changes you. You fear change, you fear love, and better yet you fear yourself because of the self destruct you do to your own mind, body and soul. My demon is anxiety and alcohol and it ruined the man I was dreaming to become for the love of my life.
