That is a good story. I'm used to hearing back in '09 to '11 when there weren't many bands in luxury tour vehicles (Bandwagon/sprinter/rv/bus) and most would use a van and they couldn't make it to shows or they got lucky and the headliner that was lucky enough to ride in one of the luxury type tour vehicles that had extra room for them shared the space with them. It doesn't surprise me that this happened to him. Things breakdown and I've seen headliners that normally use a Bandwagon or a sprinter when they headline use a van that's not normally used for touring and sometimes they have a Uhaul with it as well. I feel bad that any band touring has to ride in a van. I'm not gonna think it's unprofessional for the headliner to not be in a luxury tour vehicle. We know that most of the bands we listen to don't get the regular mainstream type funding even if they have a mainstream amount of fans and people who buy their music and merch. So it's nice to hear some of the struggles they go through to make these top of the line quality shows happen on a budget and tight on time. People don't seem to want to talk about this stuff periodically anymore. Which think they should 'cause there's a newer gen of people starting to get into going to shows regularly (of course before the virus) and new inspiring artists that are interested in these kinds of stories.
