18:50, Aaron's looking at the drummer like "You over there messin up, bruh. Get it together." The way him and his brother direct other musicians is something else.
I’ve been following the mayfield bros for years. They’re great musicians and definitely know what a great sound is. The drummer definitely struggled a little bit play on point, however, don’t tear the next man down cause as a musician myself I feed off the bands energy. Constructive criticism is GREAT , but it’s how you do things that can make it work.
He clearly is not happy with the drummer lol....as a self taught drummer, my organist at church had to discipline me as well. I didn't like it at first but I realized later it was for my benefit.
Why is it that organists want drummers in pocket(which is good) but tgey are never in the pocket?? Its pretty irritating....He's beasting but I couldn't play with him......vibes would throw me off......and lets be clear Josh would've been slappn but he would've let him go hard
Dash 1 because some drummers think they killing but actually throw off the vibe because if you just chopping or licking and not being musical it’s a waste it’s called placement and it makes a big difference and Arron was in the pocket the whole time he played the song and vamped the same groove till the end the drummer had no pocket sound sloppy and lazy that’s y key players don’t like drummers like that because they wanna kill but they don’t want to get the fundamentals at the end of the day if you ain’t locking you ain’t doin nothing
Drummer is trying to show off to much you will not get gigs like that they must have only had one drummer he was humble because most would have kicked drummer off
