My Favorite pitcher of the new generation. A Cy Young is in his future. Lowest ERA by a Phillies since Roy Halladay in 2011. Foolish 2-seamer, wipeout curve, and a sensational changeup. His prime has officially begun and I predict he will have even better years down the line. 3rd in Cy Young this year.
chcuc nope. He’s definitely an underrated player. Regardless of his record, era, etc he’s still underrated. A big part of why he’s underrated is because he’s on the Phillies. I know they had a better season, but still. A lot of people underestimate this guy.
I actually make a brief appearance in this highlight. @ 0:30 to 1:00 I'm in the upper right hand corner (Sports Philadelphia) during that entire game against the Giants.
I watched him shut down the Red Sox and that's how I knew this guy was a stud. It's a real shame that the team collapsed. It would have been fun to see him pitch in the postseason.
Nola was great in 2018 under Rick Kranitz as their pitching coach. Chris Young ruined him and the other pitchers. Now under bryan price they should be back in form.
