@@joseluis-dj7ur Mezcal can be made out of ANY agave, including agave tequilana. There's more than 20 you can use out of the 200 recognized. [Nowadays it has to do with de DO, not every municipality in MX has the DO's, making some mezcales not being labeled as such.. and the same goes for tequila.] Mezcal = Agave Spirit. And Tequila is a very specific type of it. Actually.
oaxaca has way better mezcales made by families thay been doing it for many many yearrs , this actors come to oaxaca ,buy ot try to buy wild maguey ( tobala) so cheap that end up scrrewing mex people , and add stuff to their mezcal\
