Shay has always been my favorite singer but aeronautical is really good too Shay just has more or his own sound while aaron is unique voice but more generic rock voice
Dang, I might be the odd one out when I say I prefer Aaron's vocals a lot more to Shay's. Not taking anything away from him, he's an amazing vocalist. But to me, Aaron fits in OM&M well especially with his screams. His vocals have improved a ton especially since the last few albums. Both singers are fantastic regardless!
I prefer Shayley as a singer, but I have to admit...this newest OM&M album and even the one before sees them at their absolute best as a whole. The bands they are both in currently bring out the absolute best of each vocalist.
I love Of Mice & Men with Aaron more than with Shayley. But Dayshell (Shayley's current band), is way better than anything I've ever heard from Of Mice & Men
@@okioki1131agreed - Aaron is a better singer so can actually replicate his voice live whereas while shay had a better voice, he didn’t have the technique/control Aaron does so live he tended to sound weaker than the studio
Personally, i think shay is better at singing with his unique voice. BUT I think arron is a better song writer, and for me.. More relatable i guess. Id still pick shay lol
langenbrunner1 they’re independent, they have complete creative control over what they make and put out, it’s a benefit of doing it like shayley has been. He’s not retiring at all.
I doubt Aaron agrees, but I feel as though his worst decision was joining OM&M, Jamie's Elsewhere was on the up and came out with a badass album recently before going over to OM&M. But both guys have their strengths so I'm on the fence. Lol
Shay is better in studio, but Aaron kills it live. Just saw him live a few months ago and he was unbelievable. I saw shayley years ago and he was good, but I was a little disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong shay is a great singer but I listen to om&m older stuff and they were great Bc of how heavy they were but adding Aaron was a huge achievement and now that austin left I don’t think shay could lead om&m like Aaron so what I’m saying is Aaron has a more metal voice and I prefer Aaron
Shay had a more unique voice on the records but live, Aaron was way better...if im jamming on my iphone, i prefer shays voice because its a unique that i just like better but Aaron just had better stamina live and was objectively a more consistent live singer. He did sound better live and for as long as Aaron was in the band vs Shay there are more videos of Shay sounding not great. Off pitch, cracking, etc. I feel like ppl who are saying Shay just dont wanna let go of the OG especially if they were fans since the beginning cuz Shay is part of the identity but again, whos better live? Also you couldnt have asked for a better replacement when shay left, for all the clean vocals that exist in metalcore, this band pretty much had the best 2 that exist. then Aaron had to not only fill Shaleys shoes, but then Austins...and kill it at the same time. like common, the dude is a fucking savage...
Debo reconocer que la voz de Shayley tiene más alma que la de Aaron, pero este último no lo hace mal tampoco (Probablemente Aaron no haya sido la mejor opción para OM&M, pero igualmente él no es para nada un mal músico)

It's a neat little comparison Whatever But you have to understand that Shayley IS OM&M Sure, Aaron is great But the soul of Of Mice & Men was gone when shay left
They're both good but I like Aaron in OM&M. In a lot of songs, they sound just about the same lol. They have very similar voices. Before really knowing the band I heard Second and Sebring live and thought Aaron was the original. Either way I love old and new OM&M.
Shay is more unique but Aaron has a much smoother and nicer straight line singing voice. He was a great replacement after shay was gone vs most singers out there
