Thanks for the laughs Mike! 49 minutes of fun watching a steel fabricator and a welder creating really cool, well made stuff. I do see an issue on the new "fab table" though at time stamp 47:15, the two pipes used to slide out and support the table will become a major pain in the but to deploy. So I'd consider welding a thin piece of flat bar to the ends of both pipes and drill a hole in the center of the flat bar with a 14" string through the hole and attach the end of the string to a golf ball with a screw. Now you can lift the extension and just pull on the golf ball and both support pipes will come out together. There you go, proof that all of us, care about you guys. Cheers from Canada

To save fingers, add a second blow nozzle in the hose line. have to squeeze both to operate.

weld a crossbar/pipe at the end of the two support pipes, that way you will have a handle to pull them both out simultaneously.

Mmmmmm Sidetracked again.....lol, the stacks sounded quiet while loading Bubba Dump can't wait to hear it on a jobsite. ROI on the can crusher is about 48,000th can crushed but it was worth it. The addition to the cutting table will definitely help as well as the wheels, I was impressed it didn't flip over when MBTS climbed on it. Outstanding Video, Keep up the good work guys!!

Run a bead across your washers to make them real spacers.

Actually, you can put a square peg in a round hole if it is the right size. That's how I reinforced the jack on my wife's horse trailer. the jack has a V in the tube so a round wouldn't fit well but the V went into one of the flats of the square. So now it is a thin wall tube with 3/16 wall 1 1/2 square in it.

Sooo, if you make a feeder chute you could weld a baseball ring to the top of it - move the crusher and can out into the main part of the shop and you can play hoops after you drink your can. Mind you you're going to have to fit a remte control valve to the air line then! This could turn into endless fun 🙂

I don't know why no one has talked about the safety issue here. Kids operating this can crusher are surely bound to reach in there for any reason, and BANG! They could lose a hand or the use of a hand. Safety first guys, put some feature in there ao they can not operate it while reaching in to dislodge a can or something like that.

Easy way to implement a dead man switch so it requires two hands to operate; put another blow gun inline before the main one.

Hey guys, here in Michigan we have a 10 cent recycle bounty. You turn them in let big machines crush them and get your 10 cents back. No need for your can crusher.

I just use my foot to crush cans, works perfectly. However, if you want to have fun being ceative and get the kids excited, yours works perfectly. Fun video Mr. Creative Perfect.

That can crusher build had me cracking up! Pro tip... Keep a trash bag in the trash can, it catches any liquids left in the cans and when full just tie it off and it's ready to hand off to someone to recycle them. Thats what we do under ours.

'Square peg in a round hole' is old time joinery. Wood is dry, peg is green. Not going to come apart ever. It is really hard to drill a square hole without modern tools. It is easy to cut a square peg.
