Ted and Karen chose to have my visit Lansing, Michigan on my road trip. I was there Tuesday and we all went to Zeus' Coney Island where we surprised Kaylee with a $500 tip from Aaron. Next up, Indiana!
I think It is a wonderful thing to do leaving a generous tip and I respect that. And I am sure the tip would help many waiter/waitress. But I feel the money could be given to others who are more in need because afterall workers have a salary. There are many people out there experiencing hunger on a daily basis. However, I learn that the most important thing is to inspire others and not money. Hopefully for all the people that received a generous tip will do something good in return for others
Hey, glad you came to Lansing. My office used to be right behind Zeus'! This rocks. The whole idea rocks and now that I know book is involved, I'm going to buy it!
i think most of the waiters are ready for some confrontation from the customer - that's why they all seem a little rude, but it's normal human behavior..a stranger stands up, cameras get pointed at them, of course they get defenseive. Every single one of them so far, let that wall down and you saw true happiness in each one's face.
