not kidding I showed a drum vid of Aaron Spears my brother who doesn't know anything about music or drumming and right away he said "wow, am I wrong or has this guy better timing that most drummer?" crazy. how does he do it that you automatically are fully captured just by his timing alone?
14 Aspen Drive part of being a good drummer is playing to the music, not just trying the best fill wherever you want. it's gotta make sense and that just didn't for me.
The fill fits and made perfect sense, you're just not musically inclined enough to understand it. Not every fill in rock needs to be straight forward 1234 lrlr easy to understand.
Ryan D I kind of agree with you. if the song would be for the radio or a album of course that fill be would not really be fitting. but since it is a kind of drum demonstration it is fine (imo)
