Over the last 10 years at SHN, Aarthi has been able to spread her wings - first as a registered nurse and now as a clinical practice leader with SHN's nephrology team.
Having developed the tools and confidence to lead, Aarthi is using her skills to benefit the community. Her recent work with the RNAO's Tamil Nurses Association and Scarborough's Tamil Seniors empowered Aarthi to share her lived experience as a Tamil-speaking Canadian born in Sri Lanka, while connecting to the issues and stories that are important to her.
Working at SHN has given Aarthi the platform to raise her voice, and give back to a community that reflects her experience.
