It’s not clay , it is color mixed wheat flour.

Thanks for asking 1) No, It’s not need to be cooked, just mix water with wheat flour. 2) yes it does get affected by burning oil it will turn black but remain in shape. 3) actually they are kind small oil lamps we use to worship gods here in india in hindu religion. But you can use this material to craft different other things it works like clay.
