He gets stronger with every kill not time he spend with body. Also he HAVE TO kill in order to maintain the body as he is too powerful. That's why he needs more vessels than one, and yes, he also gets bigger with every kill. He's just too powerful in lore for a body like Varus's or Kayn's
No mortal body can carry ascended Aatrox's soul. Ascended power remains in them, but their ascended bodies are replaced by their weapons and now they have to use mortal bodies which are weak. Aatrox was literally the perfect warrior, it explains why no mortal body can match him, he merges many bodies to make one that will sustain his powerfull soul for some time. Other darkins are not that powerfull, and they all love Aatrox and belive in him as their saviour from Xolaani and their curse.
Also Saijax Cail-Rynx Kohari Icath'un is such a gigachad that he vibe checked an ascended and walked away, being the only mortal to do so i think? hence why aatrox calls him worthy.
@@meowdaleekittenpaw9443 he only finnished off the god warrior, it was 8 or 9 elite Icathia warriors vs Shuriman god warrior, they all died in combat and only Jax survived. That shows you how powerfull god warriors are.

actually about the aatrox vs pantheon thing, it was actually atreus when pantheon and aatrox fought, aatrox killed pantheon but atreus' willpower was so strong that he the human refused to die, he ended up fighting aatrox as a human again later on and winning the fight
as someone that's dedicated a lot of time to Aatrox, i personally love him in the mid-lane into any of their melee matchups, lovely day to smoke a zed.
I know I'm a few hours late, but when it came to Nautilus, the lore for him was he was a Crewmate on a ship, and instead of paying the toll of the sea, the Captain threw him into the waters as an act of betrayal. From memory here, the ocean took him in with a source of Magic?, I believe it was, and turned his normal spirit and placed it within the armour of the Titan we know him as now, If a Captain/Crew does not pay the toll, he raises his anchor to sink either the ship, or to take the Captain to the depths. There's a few artworks I've seen of him and Pyke, and I think Sea Monster Cho in one or two as well. His nobleness is the "Debt Collector" of the Ocean against those who wronged him, and those who would dare defy the Ocean God or smth along that lines, granted I haven't read the lore in 1-2 years.🤎

pro you need to listen to kled voice line he roast everyone and it's so funny. and kayn and rhaast have funny interaction too . but kled is the best. the second think it wasn't zoe who trapped the darkin it was the women (the aspect) before zoe. aatrox just mistaken it

@lolshifu1the pantheon before Atreus is not the aspect of war that Aatrox killed. Aatrox killed the celestial known as War that inhabited pantheon's body. Like every aspect of targon they are merely hosts for celestial entities' power.
So what happend with renekton, was that after xerath betrayed Shurima and all that. Renekton sacrificed himself by holding xerath so nasus could Seal them both in some sort of tomb or something and renekton kept fighting xerath inside the tomb for many many years and while they were fighting xerath was slowly turing renekton mad by corrupting him into thinking his brother nasus betrayed him locking him in There on purpose. When someone opend the Seal (i think it was azir tho i’m not sure) renekton had turned mad in the darkness with xerath constantly whispering things to him

the voicelines are goofy, lame, and unimmersive. They replaced Aatrox with this boris fellow. Not cool. Not gonna let this rework go. It was bad and an autoattacker champ got turned into a skill shot champ. Like turning tryndamere into riven. Dang stupid. Changes shouldn't be that drastic. Like xin xhaos rework was good. And they had Aatrox in a good spot with his mini rework before his removal.
To add some notes on some lore things you said: - Zoe wasnt the one that taught humans how to seal the Darkin, it was the host for the aspect of twilight before her. But Aatrox knows shes the current host so his hatred transfers to her (Even though Zoe would obliterate Aatrox without literally trying and thats without Aurelion Sol's help as she controls the leash that binds him to Runeterra). - Also, the corruption of the Ascended into the Darkin was a process over hundreds of years. Aatrox and the rest of the Ascended were already god-warriors before the Void War. They fought the Void for five hundred years without pause, battling beings from the void for so long would leave mental scars on anything. The only thing keeping them in control was the Emperor Azir and the Shuriman Empire itself (Which both were destroyed by Xerath's betrayal as you said). - Lastly, Aatrox calls Jax a worthy vessel not because he is a Troll. Jax was a warrior for the nation of Icathia who managed to defeat one of Shurima's god-warriors, something never thought possible (Or rather, he and multiple other elite warriors battled it and only he survived). Icathia then celebrated and paraded the god-warrior's corpse and in retaliation, Shurima sent the rest of its god-warriors to wipe Icathia from the world. In a last ditch effort, Icathia released the Void and begun the Void War. Jax is one of the most powerful and skilled warriors in Runeterra, that is why Aatrox deems him a worthy vessel over all others.
To correct you on some mistake: Zoe would die if confronting Aatrox, remember that he killed the aspect of war itself, the constellation that made Pantheon an aspect was "put out" like a fire. She doesn't have enough power to do so, that's a misconception spread because of reddit weirdness
@@jonytequileiro Correcting what you said, the war aspect died, as it was too arrogant and didn't fight seriously, and so Atreus (who had been possessed by the Aspect) regains his consciousness and defeats Aatrox by cutting the arm of the sword off, making him lose his body
Actually, atreus(pantheon in game) was the vessal at the time when aatrox killed the aspect of war, hence the massive scar on his chest and in the normal splash art aatrox is behind pantheon. Aatrox stabbed atreus with war inside him killing war and atreus survived, hence atreus saying the god died but the man lived.
Icathian/Void War and Shurimas downfall - Darkin War - Twilight of the Gods They studied forbidden sorceries like Xerath and also mastered every primal magic. Hemomancy is just an adjustment for their body. Xolaani is a healer so she's much adept to bending blood whereas the other Ascended/Darkin are used to their respective powers. Also, they can't harness their celestial powers now so, they much prefer using hemomancy as it's only bound or known to Runeterra
He needs to kill and absorb blood in order for him to maintain his body since mortal bodies are too weak to sustain his power but he does get stronger the more blood he absorbs and grows bigger in size.
I am glad that I can share my love for Aatrox with people, even though I myself am from Russia, but I confirm everything that this guy said many times. Aatrox the best boy with wild charisma sad past and great design. His voice acting is a separate art form!!!

Her perma positiv aditude and her life loving personality thats be like a sunny girl. And she cares 4 outhers. She gaves me a good feeling while i play her and spent time with her. And this is what i sartch in a girlfriend. A girl that have a good hearth and loves the life and be basicly a sunny girl and let me smile while i spent time with her. So yeah she is basicly waifu matieral 4 me and that why she have the best voice lines ^^ I hope i will find a girlfriend that gaves me the feelings that she gaves me. Because i know she isnt real. But sometimes i wish her as my girlfriend. Anyways 2 the aatrox part: if i rember right he is realy good in roast over champs. So if you like that y he is 1 of the better once.
