Wouldn't it be cool if Aatrox had a passive , which when he dies his sword remains where he died, draining the life of those close(enemy or ally) and if it kills with that effect Aatrox revives
For real, and it's not like it'd be busted since there would be ways to easily counterplay that. Literally just walk away from him. Could probably do with a cooldown of some kind as well--like Khumba's passive in Smite. Strats around it could also form where people could get CCed around Aatrox's sword long enough for him to revive.

The revive was what made him ludicrous for his turret dives and it felt like he was deleted after his revive was removed. Other than that, they should buff his late-game because without his revive, he's not that strong in his late-game. So I think it's fair that they removed his revive. Maybe bring back his e to heal from non-champions again. He deserves a buff since his revive is gone tbh
How revive will make him stronger late game? how? This revive was strong on the laning phase beacuse he could dive without consequenses. It is toxic and not fun. Just rise his numbers like riot is doing rn with his ultimate. More armor and mr and he will be just fine

Played the log in music on loop while playing Aatrox yesterday after the nerf. 3 games in a row S and didnt even realise the revive in the ultimate was gone. "Mastery? I must congratulate you, obviously your parents never had reason to."
2 years have passed and only now did I realise that he grew bigger because he is consuming their flesh to regain his "true form". That's why there are no bodies in the battlefield.
