This song is the true representation of the monsoon in India. When it arrives it turns everything upside down in a second but still you look forward to it. The singer, the music and the photography everything is perfect. Getting drenched in first shower of the monsoon was a spiritual experience. Darn, I miss India and the simple childhood. I heard a story about this song on Radio that Subha Mudgal was supposed to have a show later after shoot. Director planned whole shot with rain dance(last part of video) without Subha Mudgal. She was not supposed to be drenched in rain but when shot started by mistake she was soaked. Everyone on set freezed as she was still big classical music icon that time and waiting for her reaction but she didn't said anything and continued the shoot.
