I have no words for you dear u are such an amazing person. you teach so difficult things in such an easy way. yes you are right all kids are different and plan activities on that basis. Wo jab bhi aisa koi behaviour kare aap usko mana mat karna....lekin use divert karo...and mana Karo to wo jyada karega...aur soft texture k ya smiley ball se usko squeeze karva...to usko nail biting me fayda hoga...

Hi .mere bete ko bhi ye issue tha....aap apne bedroom room me radium Wale Star ya picture lagaiye....jisse bachcha andhere me use dekhna pasand kare ...ya fir aap coloring light ka jo projector aata hai wo leke usse wo khel khel me dikhaiye...andhera kar k ...red,blue, green colour k dot - dot wali light ka aata hai jo online bhi mil jayega....aisa night lamp bhi aata hai... Usko light se ya andhere e problem hoti hai....ese me bachche ko vision and sensory therapy ki jarurat hoti hai.... Bachcha kuch texture bahot pasand karega....ya fir kuch bilkul pasand nahi karega....wese hi kuch ek ya do jinke saath wo comfortable ho uske alava dusro k saath khelna,godi me bethna, pasand nahi karega....kuch texture ya test ka hi khana khana ...isasse pata chalega ki sensory issues hai ya nahi.....
My kid is 3.9 yera old he does not have atism or ADHD we do the assessment for that but he have speech delay he can't memorise arymes or story speech is not according to age We go far OT twice aweek But his improvement is very slow Therapist say is ouditory memory is week Can we improve the ouditory memory? Can it be retain to naormal?
Hello Jyotsna. Sorry to jump in the comments section but I think I can answer your query. Your kid seems to have learning disability which is different from adhd and autism. You can include more visuals in his curriculum. For example .. flash cards/printouts and make flowcharts for daily activities like bathing and hand washing. Although I am not a professional but I think these might help as my son also has delayed auditory processing.
