As far as the painted nails thing go, it's really dependent on the type of girl imo. I'm like a goth/emo/alt whatever you wanna call it and I usually have mine painted black. Alt chicks and chicks who are into the gender non-conformity stuff dig it big time, but when you start doing other colors most chicks assume you're gay. I used to do whatever color I was digging at the moment, and I still do colors occasionally for events or holidays, but I realized pretty quick to just go with black if you're at all interested in getting chicks.
