Back in the late 70's when my daughter was born, we picked up a similar pram at an auction. Navy blue, perfect condition, with the rear wheels larger than the front ones and overlapped a bit. Very springy ride for the urchin and she loved riding in it. Even at auction prices, it wasn't inexpensive.

I have one of those prams. I inherited it from my mom when she passed. She used to use it when my brother and I were babies. It was a gift from my Aunt who had it shipped from the U.K. Here's a secret with the pram-- You can detach the bed from the wheels to bring into the house.

Hi Robb, Really loved this place, Thanks for finding it. PEACE-OUT

That house is in pretty good shape for being abandoned. The high chair and crib are antique, 50-60 years old at least. That bike is old too, '60s or 70s. Everything was old, so I would guess the old people kept the things from their kids around for their grand kids. No one young has lived there for a long time.I wonder why there were so many small rooms upstairs? Odd for a big house that old. Reminds me of a brothel. Maybe they boarded farm hands there.

HAHAHA! We had that Mary Poppins record when I was growing up. A LOT of neat antiques and retro stuff left there. That bike with the banana seat could be worth something if restored. I had one that was a 5 speed and I got a lot of money for it when I sold it back in the 70s. That's just a really interesting place. Thanks for sharing your explore.

orbitalchiller haha I'm 30 and have operated a rotary dial phone. Look that shit up. My grandparents still had one in a bedroom when I was a wee lad.. It took like 45 seconds to dial. Especially if there were a few zeros in there. They didn't require power either. Just the very tiny amount from the phone line. Power went out and you could still talk on the phone. Then they came out with touch tone. *gasp*

Thank you,for this visual poetry. Creeping around old places works better than laxatives .But worth it to marvel at the textures of the pastel paints peeling .Priceless to observe the speed in which nature reclaims her own..Admiring the beauty of the solitude and quiet that envelops the forgotten old home.Damp and decay contrast with the stoic well made wooden furniture and iron stoves..really were built to last.speaks to me of the American (Australian)dream attained then slipping from the grasp of mortal hands . Love your work

Hi Rob. How's Kristy? I hope her leg is on the mend, & she's feeling better. And, Wow, that's a Big house!! 3 stories + an attic? It looks like someone's been in there, redoing the walls, by the looks of the room with all the silver insulation. I just can't imagine leaving all the photos & baby stuff behind. So many antiques there. I love that makeshift lamp that went to the ceiling light. Super cool. It does look like a park light.

I love these old houses, the architecture, the craftsmanship the old light fixtures as well as the bath and kitchen fixtures. I would love to have seen the stair cases and the kitchen in this building. Did they have just the one bath you showed us? Oh FYI the large light on the marble table was a floor lamp with a built in table, the ceiling light fixture was a complete unit with the light sockets attached, they don’t even have the same finishes. Thank you for taking time to focus long enough for us to see what you’re looking at. I’m really not interested in the personal junk left behind, but I know others are. I do love seeing antique furniture. We’ve watched many of your videos and you do a better job than some people. Keep up the good work. 👍

LOVE that house! Me, I date back to the 40s and that house looks really old even to ME! LOL. My guess is late 19th, early 20th century. I would say that the visible ceilings in the house are probably "drop" ceilings. The original ceilings were probably 9'-10'- maybe even 12' high and are still there under the "modern" dropdowns. In the old days, my days, nothing felt more refreshing in summer than a bedroom with a tall ceiling and a tall bed with a Candlewick bedspread. Now THAT was LIVING! I would have LOVED living in that house in its prime! Great find Rob! Thanks for the memories!PS...Good health K!

RnK All Day Hey at 6:21 Wow I can't believe it! I see a small table that's rusted on the top, metal with flaps that folds down on the sides. It looks like an old the old typing table I have that my Mom left me when she died. Wow, what a really cool house! All that fine furniture, record albums, the baby stroller, pictures etc... How sad that it's all being left there to rot away. What a damn shame for all those antiques! I wish I had enough money to buy that place with all that stuff, repair it and make it my own. That would be so cool!

Thank you for the tour, the very best finds were parts of the house. The six over six widows & unusual 6 panel doors. The bathroom you can see, predates common knowledge of roof venting for plumbing, that thing beside the tub is the venting. the sink taps were huge. The linoleum patterns look 100 years old - was that all on the third floor?

You mean demons. Human spirits that "passed over" are not here on earth. Unless God lied in Hebrews 9:27. But familiar spirits (demons) love to impersonate humans especially people from the past like Confederate soldiers and "ladies in white", and little girls or boys, etc. It's just a demonic con game to get people to believe something contrary to the Bible.

Lots of antiques from the early 1900's. The house built about the same time I think. Think there were multiple children living there. That antique school desk...the notebook has notes from a psychology class. Looks like graduate school studies for psychology. Family was educated and loved learning and the arts. Quite an interesting home. Wonder what happened? Big house. Wish I could've seen more.

Would have loved to see the kitchen. Great video though, not sure how I missed it last week.

I bet it has a good attic! that one long light fixture didn't go over the middle one in that room that one was just the way it was I have some. that long one when you turn it upside down goes in a corner and it's pretty modern compared to the one that was on the ceiling the one that was on the ceiling was early electricity in fact all of them and all the rooms were very early electricity they were fabulous and the chairs were really old and recovered in the seventies it looks like the chairs were probably 40 50 years older than the upholstery. it had a lot of cool stuff left in it I'm kind of surprised. the baby carriage looked Immaculate like it been shined.

That was a college level textbook, looked like to me. SOOOO weird that the desk would be all by itself in the room. That just totally trips me out.

The music in the background gives me a 'The last of us' vibe.

It's funny but that is the only thing that saves this house from being vandalized is everyone thinks it's haunted. The old people might really be haunting it but even if their not it saved their home. All the bikes you showed were girls bikes even the small one so I don't think there was a boy. Thanks for sharing its interesting because it has a lot of stuff left in it.
