ABANDONED 1957 Chevy Wagon Gets Disc Brakes Conversion and Lowered!

This is PT.3 we put a cheap ebay disc brake kit on the 1957 Chevy Station Wagon. With that we also lower the wagon in the front and the rear, while also explaining how to change all the suspeniosn bushings and installing new ones! The wagon then gets new fuel lines and brakes all around and finally put back on the ground ready for its engine.

Wow I love these cars. I saw a 57 Chevy 210 4 door wagon just this morning on South Florida craigslist Auto Parts that runs and drives for ten grand. I called the guy and he says it's his daily driver. He has three other Tri-five Chevy's a C10 some old fords and a VW bug. I'm going this weekend to check out his collection.

sometimes the spider gears can wear out make sure when the axles are pulled the the spiders are tight if they are sloppy the axle bearings take it on the nose they are not designed to have the axle on the third member end move around if the spiders are floppy at all replace them
