Same. I literally have only watched this guy to see this truck get the works and he hits us with hey guys I blew a bunch of money on 2 rims so should I mismatch them and make this thing look like a dump or should I keep these og rims on it and make it look like a dump?
One reason why videos like this are so great is: after a day or working my ass off, its nice to come home, crack a couple of cold ones and watch you and TK do some work. I like both of your processees toward work. Once again I say. . . .great content.
I don't know why few people criticizing him for putting factory wheels. It's his truck, his channel, he like those wheels, that's it ! It sums up everything. Try to respect everyone choice. Love your videos Randy. Keep it up. 🔥
Love when your guys wrenching on cars/trucks. Not sure why but it so satisfying when you get them purring. So much more than walk around. That bike is fire!
love the old dodge truck. i do the same to my step son give him more for his b-day. hate it when people think old car suvs & truck are not worth it. keep up buying the old ones.
Really enjoying the videos about this truck. I have a lot of nostalgia for these trucks because my late grandpa drove a second-gen 2500 Cummins with an extended cab in the same color. Every time I visited him, I'd love riding in it. The part of the video where y'all were driving into the sunset on a country road with several boxes of Hunt Brothers Pizza in the middle of the bench seat reminded me of one time when I did the same thing while visiting my grandma in Texas a few years ago, except that was in a Honda Civic.
Randy is a true car expert he knows his stuff...I'd trust him to work on my car family friends etc!!! Love the content major salute TK much love from Detroit Michigan 💯
Loved the video Randy. The dodge ram is coming together just takes time. I wish I knew how to do half the thing you do my father never showed me how to work on cars so you inspire me to learn.
I have owned a 99 short bed extended cab Ram Sport with a 5.9 for a long time. Roughly 250K on it with no major rebuilds anywhere. Still runs great and is cross country worthy. GREAT trucks.
I recently purchased a stethocope and it really comes in handy for locating bad pulleys. I suggest it because it really helps to narrow down the possible causes for the squealing.
Florescent lights make things look green. Change out those shop lights in the garage to LEDs. Costco has them cheap. They daisy chain. You can hook up 6 to one outlet. 6 will give you enough light in the garage.
my neighbor bought a new harley over 1 year ago and put less than 100 miles on it. we just changed the oil and now he just bought a used '03 883 with only 1200 miles on it. both run perfect now and are tagged. i ride my bike every chance i get. ive been riding streetbikes for 30 years now.
Hey how's it going, so my brother passed away last year and left the exact same truck behind. I am so ready to begin work on it. I was really wondering what I was going to do about the dashboard. You are a God send thanks brother.
Randy, I think you need to mount a large mirror on the wall above the HVAC system in the shop so when your putting cars on the lift alone you can see your position.
That 'repair' on fixing that battery on the convertible El Camino is soooo hilarious! 😂 You've made the Dodge Ram happy, that's great to see! 👍 Love the video! :D
Randy, you and TK should open up a for hire mechanic shop. TK can F bomb the underhood compartment and you can change the back brakes with one hand! 😅 You guys make a great team, keep the great videos coming.
Randy I’m so glad that God blessed u so much from where u came from! Keep up the good work and partner with watchJRGO that will be epic!! Blessings!!!!
Best way to clean out the coolant system is 2 gallons of white vinegar with distilled water drive it for bout 2 days then flush it u can't imagine what comes out been doing it for years And them 5.9s are Notorious for cooling problems everytime I buy a durango with the 5.9 first thing I do is change the radiator water pump and thermostat and sometimes the heater core
The original wheels and tire size look right at home on your Dodge Ram. Great that you were ablee to capture them in the wild and return them to their natural habitat. Those wheels you found for your ElCamino will look great on the old girl. Nothing like a new pair of shoes to lift a girl's spirit. It's great to watch your road trips to and from your headquarters. The drama of: (Will he make it or not?) combined with the dreaded (DEER!) make for great content especially when you have a special guest on the trip. TK is always in good form. I would go for the factory color on the Cavalier, if for no other reason than to reduce the cost of the Maaco paint job. It is such a hassle to change body colors and make the car look right. Love your channel Randy. Let's keep giving love to the older cars that deserve to be back on the road. Oh, by the way, I think you might have some mouse gremlins in your Dodge Ram wiring. Just my Spidey Sense tingling...
At first, I thought it was an abandoned 2019 Ram, and I wasn't too surprised. Had to work alone this week because my coworker's 2014 was in the shop again.
I have a 99 dodge pickup I’m having fun fixing it up. I took the stock aluminum wheels and had them powder coated purple, like the truck with center caps and it looks great with the 33s I put on it.😁😁👍👍
I recognize that sound in the engine bay, I had the same exact sound coming from my 1997 jeep grand Cherokee, that is the water pump impeller dragging on the pump body!! While I was in there I replaced the timing chain-sprockets, fixed the corrosion damage on the gasket mating surfaces of the timing cover, front seal, pump cavity gaskets water pump, belt idlers etc.. Don't wait too long to replace the pump, it will start to leak out the weep hole if left rubbing too long as the pump bearings are self destructing and changing the angle of the pump shaft.
Randy you do such an incredible job on everything you do your always busy or helping someone out your a good dad I'm so glad I found your channel it's so interesting and just full of great content stay safe my friend
Love the videos. But, those are the wrong center caps. Those are the center caps for the chrome steel wheels. The ones for those alloy wheels are more rounded and more slim.
Amazing fixing some chewed through wires will do. Good Job and that dash pad looks awesome. I hope you go to a car wash or use your own pressure washer and wash the motor and underside of the truck, just get the big chunkies off.
I jus recently subscribed an I really like that you brought that dodge truck back to life .. it’s a great little truck I love those body styles .. I have 2002 truck with 5.9 magnum 2 door regular cab an I have had for 3 yrs now an basically done same thing to it .. it has only 85 thousand original miles ! Fully loaded too An all works excellent ! I love driving it ! Where did you get the dash cover for it. An I can’t wait to see the fresh paint job on it too !! Great job man 👍
On the caviler I'd keep the factory color even though it's not the best color. It's cheaper It's original, and there's no different color when you raise the hood.
awesome video randy, good looking truck, got one myself man, rides like a dream, purr's like a kitten, you keep that truck tlc'ed and boy oh boy, you got a truck worth keeping , i love this era of dodge trucks.
