Was there years ago and the hanger was full of old byplane dust croppers.

I've been to both Tonopah's municipal airport and to Tonopah Test Range. In fact, I flew into and out of both. This posting is nonsense. These old hangars are located at the Tonopah, NV municipal airport located a few miles east of the town of Tonopah. They were built during WW2 when the airfield was an Army Air Force training base. They are NOT "adjacent to the Area 51 fence" and have nothing to do with the Cold War or with "top secret black projects."

Over 100 men died at the Tonopah Air Base, training for duty in Europe during WWII.
