I don't care for the inside color scheme. So I don't want to own it. As for what I want to see for barn finds, I don't really care, as long as it showcases your awesome work!
In the early days, european cars could have 2 grils, one for the summer and a more closed one for the winter. So the car heats up faster.. I used to have this on my Volvo 245
Modern school busses have vinyl grill bras that clip onto the hood For this purpose. I'm specifically referring to modern freightliner based bodies as it is a carry over from their semi trailer functionality, they are known as Winter fronts and can be deployed I believe without the use of tools fastening to the grill with Wing nut thumb clamps.
@@MrX-ni3tp it dit not 😅 it mostly was for the engine temp in cold winters. Injection did not help to that.. advantage of injection indeed was a smoother run when cold due to the cold start injector. Seen first on the Bosch K-jetronic
Lovely cars Maserati. Typical of the car is the clock missing. As they’re made by Cartier. And always the first thing to be stolen. Good job bud! Looks great!!
@Diego G. Right! I’m gonna look 👀 into this bud. As the names on the clock. Unless it was the American market that got those clocks! As everyone I’ve seen in England has Cartier on the clock face!
Yet again, another interesting car. I think this is what sets you guys apart. Of course what is and isn't interesting is subjective, but you guys have good taste!
Great job on a rare car. The different grills are easy to explain. Mild restyled through the life of the model. Different years would have different grills.
This car came out great. Funny that you are doing a Maserati I was just reading that a new dealership for Maserati and Rolls Royce is being built near me. Thanks for the video.
Guys you two are the BEST Producers/Directors of your films. I will watch whatever you detail. I must say that I am quite surprised the Italians would over mark their products with their own name so abundantly. Do they just not remember what automobile they own? Too funny.
Guys, I love your videos. You do wonderful work and your equipment is way cool and you seem to be really good guys. I am a subscriber. BUT - I have some observations. The term "Barn Find" is way the heck overused on RU-vid. It doesn't mean much anymore. I don't think you need to use it to draw attention. Next, eliminate anything about the owners of these cars. Those guys are bums for letting these wonderful vehicles rot in a garage for 20 years. The owners are car abusers. Most people don't like abusers, and car people don't like car abusers. Don't even have them on anymore. They don't deserve these cars and we know you are detailing the cars for them for free, and that is aggravating. You ought to find the cars, buy the cars, and sell them after you clean them. All the best to you. PS; Who wouldn't want a Maserati. Fun cars to find would be: 40's 50's cars; certain 70's cars; 80's and 90's cars. No muscle cars.
dont get me wrong.. but you "own" the car now? Have you made any proper sales negotiations with the previous owner? is he ok with it? i mean before you started this video? maybe i didn't hear it.
Looked like just pulling the door sill plate would have released the carpet. That should have been fairly easy....however I'm guessing avoided...because who knows how much or how long to find Maserati fasteners if they broke eh?
Cars that would make great Barn Find details a Tri5 Chevy (55,56 or 57), 1960's Javelin or AMX. and any 1930's or 40's vehicles. Great job on the Maserati.
Would I want to own this vehicle? From a style standpoint, absolutely not. I’m guessing this vehicle was manufactured during the era of the Cadillac Cimarron. Alfieri Maserati would turn over in his grave if he saw the M logo on this car.
Im sure its good but lets be honest the majority is BS resto. I have 4 classics in resto right now. All owned. Watch your wallet and purses or they will go broke.
i'm not a pro in this history thing with cars but i'm pretty sure it's probably like a options when buying a car or like something the company offers kind of like the nissan nismo or the mercedes AMG type of thing or the dodge challeneger's different editions
It is fake video it is not band find vehicle the RU-vidr bring some care and put sand and make it dirty to look like for like and comment and took money from this video ande bandid befor 10 or 20 or30 so any car leaved without using the car for many year without use it is not looklik this and the engin not started and the tires not looklik this so be onest and don’t lying next time and this is dislike from me to your video and fake washing
Interesting how the tires are still inflated after more than 10 years. I saw cars abandoned for 1 year and you can see that all air from tiers is gone. I think some info is fake, but things you do for views...
Great work - it looks like the dash clock is missing, there's a hole in the wood trim in the centre where it should be, & I'd guess the grills are spares, I don't think Maserati worried too much about the difference in winter/summer cooling issues.
How could they use such cheap carpet that sun faded so badly? Scrap the badges and use better carpet. I wonder what shape the top is in. We have a twenty year old Thunderbird in Arizona and the top is perfect.
