Oh that is not the problem, soon as you find the registered owner, then you have to get something in Writing that says you can have the boat and that paper should be Notarized just to keep it legal??
who says nobody is living on them?... zero rent in the heart of the city. they could be sneaking back at night. it's a wonder squatters don't have a go too... 1:18 applying for salvage rights isn't great. once you own it you also own all the current problems of mooring. also at 1:19 there's fuel cans and a generator plugged into the boat. how long would they last on a boat with no owner?... the owner is playing possum hiding inside.
you got to have insurance just to move them. And the CG & insurance Co's consider them a hazard to navigation and that is some pretty high insurance unless you get a tow company with them as insurer. I do not know many people that are willing to take the risk. Or just let them ice flows take them away when winter comes.(what boats) ? We don't remember any boat tied up there?????do we fellas!?!?

If I were black though I’d be veeeery careful where you get loans from. Because some banks understand the streets and just hand out loans knowing full and well they are setting the customer up with something the customer can’t afford. Now that is screwed up. Easy way to get arrested and bankrupt you at the same time. Banks were truly the downfall of this country.
