Abandoned Burger King - Willoughby, OH

An abandoned bk in Fairborn Ohio looks kinda like this and opened in 2018 and closed in 2022 and it’s still abandoned. How sad it wasent even open for 5 years

I know where this is, it is Will-o-bee. One in Painesville is closed and by me in Madison it had a fire and was demolished! Next time all the RiteAid's are closed in the area and in Saybrook there is a very rundown closed McDonalds. It closed many years ago and it is on Route 20. Quite a few restaurants and businesses in Ashtabula are closed. I love your videos! Thank you Wallie! 😊

Wow that brings back memories from 31 years ago my first job going into high school. I worked at Burger King that was just down the street from there and now a Sheetz gas station stands there. I was occasionally sent to this store to help out when they were short staffed. It’s amazing how this location went from being non stop with customers to no longer being opened. Of course back then there was a different franchisee running them.

Hey man, if you're ever in Columbus, OH again soon, there's an abandoned bowling alley off of I-71 and Sate Route 161. It was called Capri Lanes, been closed for 2 years now. Childhood bowling alley of mine. Figured to pitch an abandoned building idea if you're interested. Love your content man!

They reopened an Burger King in Centerville, OH. That was a previous Tom Kings location.

If you’re ever in Midlothian, IL, check out the abandoned Burger King on Cicero Avenue. It’s an older one that was damaged by fire. Evidently they didn’t clean out the grease in the exhaust system enough. TBH I never cared for that one that much. There are a few better options.

I'm lucky to still have one BK close to me and still get coupons in the mail. Back in the '90s and early 2000s we had them in every direction like DG stores. It's sad to see only a few left and they all got rid of the playgrounds.😢

I have two burgers king logos i got from burger king for remodeling

I remember when the first BK opened in my area back in the 70s ? Maybe late 70s. They were brand new and they would receive shipments every week of cases of fresh heads of lettuce, fresh tomatoes, fresh onions, and pickles, all from local vendors. Each morning they would spread the lettuce, slice the tomatoes and pickles and onions, and the meat was awesome, the rolls were awesome. They would scoop out the mayonnaise into these plastic tubs and they made an incredible product. But, in the late 80s they switched the meat to a cheaper supplier, as did McDonald's, and they switched buns to a cheaper supplier, and in the 90s they stopped doing the fresh produce. Everything came in these disposable plastic tubs, the onions, the lettuce, the pickle is all terrible and like rubber. For the young people who never had the original products from BK or McDonald's, they used to be awesome. The fish was another thing they wrecked. The fish sandwich they kept changing to cheaper suppliers. They had the Big Fish for a while that was so-so The Filet-o-fish today doesn't even taste or feel like fish It is not edible But back in the 70s the filet of fish was real fish. Not shreads of fish mashed into a patty. They actually had Cod that was cut into a square and breaded. It was really awesome The fresh toasted buns at McDonald's, with the fresh cooked meat, and the cheese was different back then. They would make up lots of burgers and they had a hot air bin and the Styrofoam containers They all came together and made something that will never exist again It took 30 seconds to get your order. As fast as you could say what you wanted they had it on your tray. And the fries, oh the old oil that was animal fat, it made incredible fries But I remember going in late at night and getting a big Mac and a filet-o-fish and they had been sitting in the bin for an hour And the cheese had melted into the Styrofoam containers and the taste was incredible It was great to get a fresh big Mac and Filet-o-fish but the old ones in the bin tasted different and just as good. I miss those days And I miss the Roy Rodgers and the local burger places that had the same model. Freshie's was a local place and they had the burger or cheeseburger or bacon cheeseburger and you got it in this foil wrap and you took your sandwich to the " Fixins bar " and they had fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, Onions, and different condiments. You got to make the sandwich exactly like you wanted Extra lettuce, extra tomatoes, extra pickles, mayo and catchup And it was all fresh. Those days are long gone It is a shame 😢😢😢😢

" Things That Aren't There Anymore " was a special that my local PBS did I remember the 1950s drive in theater twin screens that I thought nothing existed before it was built In that special I saw that a coliseum existed, a huge sports arena that was built around the turn of the century and the drive in theater bought it and demolished it to build the drive in. Today a FedEx distribution center is where the Drive-in was They actually left part of the parking lot of the drive in and the poles with those old big metal speakers that hang on your car window Another drive in that was in another town, the United Artist bought it and built a two screen indoor movie theater in the 70s The UA 1&2 Then a car dealership in bought them when they closed in the 80s The mall built a 6 screen that became a 10 screen right down the street But those old United Artist 1 & 2 indoor movie theaters were nice Big screen, and comfortable They were right before the malls started popping up A lot of history

As long as u don't start moon walking u'll be ok 😂..that looked like a really nice BK inside I'd love go to this one..and I've never seen a BK with them high boots that's weird that place is still in nice shape the kitchen is clean..

Those business style chairs I love them things in ours were I go I go straight to one when I eat there them things are Soo comfy I want one of them I actually called BK management office and asked who did your decor and found out who did I called the company and asked if I can order one they said it's discontinued item and I asked what they cost you ready for this one 2 thousand 400 and 94 cents that's like 25 hundred a chair is it worth it I don't think so...but I still want one just like it and there's no way to find one..and I'll take that round BK sign wow that would look cool in my garage...
