Yes I’ve got a couple of discount codes too. Not sure how things are going to pan out re the other half’s expiry date but I do have cover for the dates. I think he’s tweaked the Criterian fir this year and shall possibly do that all being well. Quiet Christmas but two nice new cameras 😊 Looking forward to watching your adventures in 2024.
Great recap and some amazing trips to look back on. Hope to get out more myself next year and also do a little bit more bike packing. As for the weather I know exactly how you feel as myself and Murray were away for a few days and wasn't half sketchy at times. Keep an eye out if he can put a video together as my camera couldn't handle the weather. Atb for Xmas and 2024.

I was out yesterday and camped at Bridge of Orchy. Brutal mate, walked up from Tyndrum and everything was drenched by the time I got there. Couldn’t wait to get back to the car, via the bus back to Tyndrum this morning. 😅
Pretty grim isn't it... If I could have kept the pegs in, I probably wouldn't have slept... I am looking forward to trying the tent again though...Deep soil and delta stakes.. well done on getting out... We're a hardy sort... 🎅😎

My dad & I went hunting in AK years back & it was so windy. We got there by plane. Fortunately there was a tied down plywood "cabin" so we didn't have to wrestle with a tent.

Within the 1st 20 seconds, I said "Holy f**k Jim!" Bud and I were out t'other week in 48 km/h gusts, it unpegged the tarp a couple times, had to get out and re peg it. And we were in the garden! 😆 So pleased to have found your channel, hard believe I only found it this year (gone through plenty of older vids now though) You've certainly had some adventures this year. Hi Jim, hopefully you and the family had a great Christmas. A good look back through the 2023's outings. Wild conditions on the new tents first test. The right call with those winds. I was out camping on the banks of Lomond the orher week and it was similar with guylines pinging out pegs with the gusts. @@BoredManOutdoors I grew up next to the ocean with alot of islands around so the waves weren't too big unless it was really stormy(This was in Juneau, AK where I grew up) I love inlets(lochs?). My favorites near Juneau, AK were Oliver Inlet, Taku Inlet and St. James Bay ❤
