After the first drop I thought this was just another lame dance mix, ruining a powerful song, but the second drop… rippling chills all over me and I realized that the first drop was just another step building to the second. The most awesome sounding, yet disturbingly haunting take on a song that already pulls that off extremely well. Props to you.

Sorry but it sounds just like a slightly tweaked version of Aaron Hibell's Destroyer of Worlds. That's basically stolen. If you wanted to make a remix of this song be a bit more unique.. Thumbs down

Stolen? Honestly, I think it's a little inspired but not "stolen." If it were stolen it would be an exact carbon copy, which doesn't happen here. This remix has a different production than the one you mention.

I'm very sure they remade 99.9% from scratch except the voice, with their own sound design. There are various professional orchestral plugins that will sound just like the instruments in the original. You are allowed to use the same melody and instruments from the original song as a base to form your own composition if it's a remix. That isn't stealing.
