This is the first Christ system that I have seen.
Unfortunately, this beautiful faculty has reached the end of its life. I originally spotted this back in 2021 and filmed it, and in 2023, it's still here. I'm surprised they have not replaced it because it's been out of order since 2019, and in 2017 it was abandoned and fixed in 2018 as it shows on Google Maps Streetview.Very pathetic thing to say, but i use to think it was a Primus but according to the dryer and front part its a Auto-Jet which is 100 times more rarer. The petrol station is still in service too.
I don't know if the machine is abandoned because I saw that the paybox and system are still turned on? Probably a faulty part broke. It's probably the last ever remaining one in Australia and Oceania as well, which is a shame. I don't even know if this machine can work again, and I don't even know if Christ sells the right parts for it now.
There was no previous car wash. Before this system, there was no car wash as it shows on street view. The servo was a Caltex with Star Mart, but they changed the name to Ampol, which is normal because almost all Caltexs are renaming to Ampol. It makes me sad to see this system left to rot. Hopefully, it at least gets fixed and will work again! I would love to film this system in working order. Overall, the business needs better service. There's still no way a carwash can end that quick, I don't even know if the owners looked after it properly, it's been sitting in the bay for too long now and needs replacing, hopefully it's not being replaced just being fixed. That includes the brushes that need to be changed, the codebox needs cleaning and new number buttons, new or fixed door system for bay especially for exit way out of bay, car wash needs a clean and a bit of a repaint, bay needs to be cleaned too and new parts might be needed for the car wash as well. So far, they only sell car wash detergent, so i dont know about that if the machine will be put in service or replacing.
