This is very similar to the old Majors of my youth. I live in the American south and my cousin had three on his farm, which he bought new. They were still going in the late 70's when I became old enough to drive them.
What happened to the TEF20 and saw bench videos? Looks like an E1A, not a super major because they had pressed steel front wheels, throttle and dials by the steering wheel amongst a whole load of other differences. Great video as usual.
Hi Rich Thats not a super major It's a regular major from before the power and supers came out so its going to be around 1958 or before depending if it had live PTO. There are a few differences in the next series power majors like wheels and the dashboard, then when you get to the later supers the hyds and brakes are different to. There are loads of those old Major type tractors in Wales ended their lives on the beach or lost at sea the odd time to. being a collector of majors and countys it's a shame to see it rot ,but at least it's not rare !. Thanks for the video.
Thanks I wasn't sure what it was. I don't know much about Fordson so thought it was a Dexta. Then someone said it was a major, then someone said a super major. I will correct the title to a major
