I noticed 2 menorahs. It looks like they tried to pack up the posessions and then gave up. I imagine a woman who loved cooking and listened to music all day long. It was a precious home to someone. Thanks for the video as always
Hello from Sweden! There's too many houses like this in the south of Sweden. The reason is that the farmers, who owns the huge plots doesn't care about the houses, since they don't do any money on them. They do all their money on the farming. It's really sad.
Вот вы сдесь живёте,очень печально что дома пустуют.А может ли кто нибудь занять такой дом восстановить и жить,если нет наследников,или это будет незаконно?
Europeans need to start having BABIES AGAIN!!! Farming is meant for families with lots of KIDS to help with the chores and milking the cows, feeding the chickens and fetching the eggs ...till they're old enough to help dad plow the fields, plant and seed, water and then harvest in the fall or late summer. Millions of Swedes and Norwegians came to Minnesota to farm in the 19th century because I heard they ran out of land and had so many people and the city life was not for them. Now all this abandonment because no one is having families???? Well America is not far behind you. The younger generations are spoiled and like the soft life of the cities. Family farms have been going by the wayside for huge factory farming. It's sad. My mom grew up on the farm, but after WWII everyone was itching to go to the city!! My granddad sent her there to get her away from a no-good gambler who caught her fancy. She was only seventeen when she went to work for The Telephone Co. called "Ma Bell" and her sister had to write special permission for her to go to work!
Understandable, if the house was empty. I feel and think these people are gone and those you are left couldn’t finish. I think I would love to purchase one of these simplistic homes. USA
I love your note! I grew up on a non-working farm and always played in the barns, rode our bikes among the cow stalls, went to see the owls that lived in the Barn tunnels, jumped from one story to hat stacks below! Fun times!thank you for your memories
I¨m from Sweden and this is a summer house that was for rent for tourists . The memo at the cupboard door says "shut off electricity", shut off water, empty the toilet and empty garbage can before you leave.
Oh my gosh! That is such a darling place. Loved all the pictures and other artifacts and the heater in the living room was gorgeous! As simple as the Swedish homes are so are, they still present so cozy a picture. You can feel the love that was present in better days. Thank you!
What an incredible explore. How to believe it has been abandon for that long.. at one time a happy home…. Thank you for treating their possessions with respect.. God bless. You do the best narrative..
The lovely pictures of the Victorian couple are actually King Oscar and Queen Sophia...did a little research, as I noticed their portraits in another of your Swedish exploration videos.
What gets me is the calendar from the 80s but yet there's the poster from The lord of the rings... maybe there hasn't been anyone living there since 2000s?
Maybe this became a holiday home, with family visiting each summer? We had one and would sometimes leave up old posters or calendars for a long time because we liked them.
Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪. Im so happy about these series! Btw, The metalbox outside the house is not a post box, its a electric box whom serve the house with electricity
I enjoy all ‘our blogs’ your so respectful of people and property and I love the history you mention also. Of coarse I love the tone and accent in your voice too. Thank you for your time, consideration, and documentation on history and property that will soon pass from us all. I watch and listen to you and then I hear all the voices in my head now and the past that keep tormenting with all the should’s and have to’s and why not’s and my ‘soul says’ why?
Hi maureno and Sara just finished watching the video. Love The hobbit house series. The house is pretty. It’s sad they left it to decay great video . Sweden is a beautiful country. Stay safe maureno and Sara.👍🏻🥰❤️🔥
I can imagine it as it must have been back in the day. Warm, and inviting. So much love ❤️. I wonder why the pictures always seem to be left behind in these homes.
Another great place explored. I love the way you narrate the intro. So sad to see a house long forgotten those little baby shoes of someone surely was a treasure to the mother. Behind the first LP's there was a mask of some sort would have loved to see it, looked what I thought was Norse. Great job thanks!
Confused about the lord of the rings poster! If the house has been abandoned since the 80's how did the poster get there? Those movies didn't come out in America the l the 2000's! And I absolutely love how y'all are so respectful of all the places you visit! Love watching ur shows!!
I love how you make the smallest home seem like the largest mansions!, the tinyest of rooms explode with colors while there dim. Your heart reflects the care the previest dwellers used to enlarge their care for a sanctuary they made their castle 🏰! I could listen to you Maureno tell me storys allllll night long as I drifted to sleep next to you. God bless your heart of hearts my lov 💘! You can embark into my abandon property if I ever have one. Lov 💘 Kenny!! 🤗🤙🌹❤🌈🎼🎶🎸🍂🍁🎃👻🍂🍁💖💖💖
Everything looks like it’s from the 70’s and 80’s…until you see the LOTR poster at 19:37 ! That movie came out in 2003…so did family members of the cute little lady live there until 2003??? Great job, guys!
Hello Raymond,Maureen n Sarah of “Explore”As always.Absolutely love ❤️ your videos.Your coverage in detail,at a pace ones can fully immerse in.And sometimes some funny,or surprising events in your adventures!🥰Thank you and your team!
What an amazing little cute cozy cottage in the countryside of the beautiful country Sweden!!! Small but it's full of amazing stuff and antiques left behind, and of course beautiful memories! Nature is taking over in an artistic way, what a beautiful natural decay! 💙💛
My God, dear friend Maureno, what an absolutely beautiful introduction of your latest Urbex video in the abandoned "Hobbit" house somewhere in the Swedish countryside! - I also loved the wonderful background music. - Yes, I agree to you, that there was a lot of natural decay traces visible; but what you see behind the decay is still very remarkable and interesting. I really loved the way, how you focussed on a lot of charming and nice items in the middle of the "unorganized" mess (your own words). - You have such a good eye for interesting details. - Simply amazing! - The two portraits you were admiring, are probably representations of the royal couple back in the days. - I absolutely love your enthusiastic passion, when you see something interesting or remarkable and once more your as always very respectful approach to the belongings of the former owners. - The abandoned teddy on the chair in the attic and these abandoned kids toys as well as the old photos showing children, made me quite sad seeing all that forgotten there in this house. - I am of course looking forward to your next Sweden video. Take care, bro, peace and lots of blessings. - Much love and kindest regards to you and also to Remon.
@@grandmacarla4258, Hi Grandma Carla, What a nice surprise to hear from you! - And - yes, no worries, there, where I am living, we also had a lot of rain and stormy weather as well, but luckily no floodings, so nothing has happened to the house. - How are you doing? - Is the Covid - Situation at last better now? - Take care, stay safe, peace and kindest regards.
@@willyegger4488 Covid numbers are going up, but my area has 70% vaccine rate. So we are not very restricted. We haven't had rain, but we have a horrible drought and a lot of huge fires around. Thankfully not near us. Strange weather, strange world. Take care and stay safe.
Great channel, everything you two explore is so interesting and well worth viewing, maybe one day north wales uk would be worth a place to check out…lots of old interesting buildings etc to film.👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Great at least 4 or 5 generation home because the paint on the floor is what was in our cottage and our family owned it 5 generations! Sadly, I hope the persons/bank that now owns-it, is still available to see the beautiful treasures inside to be shared with this interested generation! Good Luck I hope you get contacted! High chair is from 30’s too!
I wonder where they slept and took baths? Love the start of your Swedish series. It's so sad that so many personal items left behind. Wish the family would have taken some items before there all destroyed by Nature.
Incredible antiques hidden among all the clutter. Thank you for this interesting find always enjoy you getting Excited over some thing you find. I’m surprised the place isn’t in worse shape being as all the windows were open. Really enjoyed this one. And I really really enjoyed the hot house I bet it was magnificent in it’s day.
Did anyone notice the huge box on the kitchen floor reading Pastor Svards? Above that said For Renting....and the podium stand with the light attachment for reading scripture maybe in a church. Was this man a Pastor of a local church perhaps? Definitely 1970's dishware...Omg those strange glasses are beer mugs or that's what I saw my parents use them as. Looked like a wallet under the green pot in front of the tiny clock behind it. There were so many antiques from the ancestors hidden in this clutter. I still can't believe family members never came back for some of the memorable things. Thanks for this explore, always a pleasure to watch.
The box you mean is a box from a moving and storage company which is called föreningen pastor svärds pojkar flyttningar o magasinering. Which roughly translates too association pastor svärds boys moving an storage.
I missed everything you mentioned. I did noticed some but didn’t realize function until you mentioned it. I felt someone was trying (hence boxes) but something happened or became to overwhelming, a broken heart can cause death.
As you were fanning through the records, I recognized many that I used to own over 40 years ago. Great find, I am wondering if many of the boxed items were treasures from another household, placed there for storage. There appeared to be too many items for that tiny cottage as the cupboards still contained the original owners belongings. Thank you for bringing us to Sweden with you
The old photo of an elderly lady was likely the grandmother born around 1920-30, she might have had a daughter and a son, because the old Atlas book is the same kind that we had at home, that my mother had when she was young. She was born 1950. The doll on the sofa was like a doll I had when I was a kid, and I'm born 1984. So it might be a house that used to be a home or summer house for a family, or the person living there alone got bad memory, because theres a list of reminders on the inside of the door. I'm a nurse who worked alot with elderly people, and you'd often find those kinds of notes in the homes of old people.
Hello Maureno and Shara! Very cozy house in the past but I am thinking the last owner used the place only for storage. I was left everything in the past in the same place. Beautiful and peaceful panoramic around. Please stay safe 😷 😘❤ 🙏 🙌 💕 👍
the little yellow bear in the attic looked like a steiff bear they can have a lot of value if it is a steiff it will have a little lead button in it's left ear I am not saying you should take it, just let the people that own the property know to check it, if it is right it could be $1,000 usd
I wonder where were the owners of that beautiful house? Why they left such an amazing place? I thought it was a very happy home back in their days. 🥲 Thank you Maureno and Sara! Keep safe❤️
7:29 Os armários da cozinha da minha infância eram nesse estilo e no mesmo tom de vermelho😍 / 18:30 Qualquer colecionador daria uma fortuna por esta câmera.
Love your vids! Here is an idea for future vids: Possibly bring a gardener along to an abandoned spot with an old garden and have them walk us through the heirloom plantings.
Rumah pedesaan yang indah dan hangat kekeluargaan ditinggal tahun 1983 ...wahhhhh barang-barangnya masih tertingal dengan penuh history keluarga ...hebat sekali penemuan lokasinya dan tempatnya explomo ...indah sekali negara swedia ...terima kasih ...salam hormat dari indonesia ...
