I absolutely love this place! This is a place of happy memories, for some and, if the lady who made or makes these dolls is great at what she does and might even be putting her dreams into them and this place!

Incredible journey to the Scarecrow village. Amazes me how one woman can make replications of all the people who lived their and visited their. Her 19 years of making this village looking like people still live their. Amazing thumbs up.👍 for that incredible woman for having a tribute for the families that lived their. Wow! What an awesome way to remember and pay tribute to the people you knew from your childhood. It is very sad that this happens when things change and you must move away to be able to support yourself, and then, your family. I would definitely return to my childhood home if someone created dolls of my family. Looking forward to seeing the dolls of you and the crew when you return.

This village scenery is so beautiful but the story of the scarecrow village is sad. I love how this one woman's love of her home town has brought the village back to life. I agree with you Dave I think this village would be creepy at night. The school is unbelievable with all the different events going on, love how you hide among the the scarecrows and the others didn't noticed you but she noticed you right away. Yes I'd love to have a scarecrow made of me and I'd love to go back and see it, would be a blast. I'd love to see her make one you you all also. Great explore, thank you and take care.

what can I say I was so surprised about the little Japanese village and the lady that made the scarecrows 19 years of love 19 years of hard work and Labour went into making these beautiful scarecrows that actually look like people and David you have done an amazing job by putting this video together you deserve a pat on the back you have done great videos but this one took the icing of the cake and meeting the creator of the scarecrows was just amazing love to see a scarecrow of you, Josh and Mark but a great video and well done

what an amazing tourist attraction. If there are still 25 people left in the village, im sure they too would have helped her make those scarecrows. I loved how they each had their own personalities and looks. there was even crops growing with the ones outside. Im wondering - because the ones outside still looked so clean and new, if they take them inside at night, or just cover them over to stop dirt and cobwebs getting on them. just an amazing place. Ill never get to go there, even though Japan is a neighbour to Australia... so thank you for showing us. keep enjoying yr travels

OMG !!!!!! i just watched some more ! This women needs to be given a Nobel Peace Prize for the wonderous and tremendous contibution of Philanthropic consciousness to the expression of her depicting life in that village and honoring it so over the top with an enthusiasm for the life of people who once were there and even the addition of any characters who were just to show life of human beings ordinary lives . This is so incredible the amount of time and work and effort to create all this , Im a seamstress and Im blown away ! Such love !!!

I live in Canada and a couple towns over from me they do a scarecrow invasion every fall. They use pumpkins for heads and the town is full of them. It’s cool to see one in a different country! Crazy to think one lady put this whole town together on her own! Looks like she had a lot of fun creating this, you can tell she enjoys doing it😊

Earlier this year I was in Tasmania and there was a village similar, it was on the way to a place called Flowerpot. It was very creepy as it was so unexpected to see on the drive... but this Japanese one, waaaaaaaaaay creepier!

One things that scares me about living in villages with houses along the river and mountains to your back is mudslides. If your houses escapes the mudslide, there is a good chance that the road will be destroyed. I have been here many years ago.
