Today, we are exploring an abandoned lottery winners mansion with an indoor movie theater, gym, and wine cellar. This mansion was purchased in 2016 by a doctor and his wife after winning the lottery. Unfortunately, after spending all the money the family forgot about taxes. So the mansion was taken from the family. The Mansion was listed for sale 2018, but as you can see, it never sold. Now the basement is completely covered in mold and the mansion will probably be demolished.

The basement looked like it was flooded at time, hence the mold. Most lottery winners don't know how to handle that much money. Thanks for sharing!

It's a real shame a house like this had gone to waste. There is minimal vandalusm, but the mold made this house a write-off. I wonder what happened to the people who owned this house and ultimately went bankrupt?

Why didn't the lottery winner just put this house up for sale? Were they upside-down on the mortgage? If so, I think the bank still could have negotiated a short sale. The seller would have walked away with nothing, and the bank would eat a loss.
