Abandoned Mall East Hills Movie Theater Bakersfield 

This mall was my childhood, man. I'm sad that it's gone now, but it was really cool and nostalgic to see it again

Oh wow, this takes me back. Sneaked in to so many movies in that theater as a teen lol. When the mall was built, my uncle was the contractor who welded and installed the light posts throughout the main walkways and the rolling gates on all the storefronts. He pointed it out every freaking time my family ever went to that mall 😂

I got hit by a wave of nostalgia when you passed by GameStor, I used to go there fairly frequently when I was younger.

So crazy to see! I live in Bakersfield where it was and have so many memories there! Me and my wife use to take our kids when they were toddlers and we use to take my daughter's to the bridal shop where they would often pick out there dream quinceanera dress! Which they both just had a couple of years ago 😢. We use to always be in the game store with my step son who is a gaming fanatic! We use to sell them,trade them etc and Daniel's jewelry is where I got her wedding ring!! Yes they've always had the BIGGER MALL but there was something about this smaller one that was cozier, and better for families, just look at all the people who have had good memories as a child 😊. This is on the north east of Bakersfield and I still live here, never knew this video existed, however they just announced on the news that they are bringing back a mall and shopping centers and restaurants!!! They have plans to start in 2025! So excited for the new memories we will create, thank you brother for sharing!!

This was my favorite mall to go to as a kid. I lived on the other side of town so my parents rarely took me there. Once i got my own car, I would go to the mall every weekend. Its interior was stunning❤

I remember watching batman vs superman here. The fact that this was recorded in 2020 as well is crazy.

I used to work at the T-Mobile infront of footlocker and in the evening it would be so dead in the mall myself along with footlocker guys and security would toss the football across me mall the good ol days!

If you would have kept walking you would have found the blood scene in the theater room, across from it i dropped some making a trail to the room and a hand print on the door, leading to another blood scene. I did it for urban explorers, you turned back before those rooms, but i believe you showed the room from the top at 11:45. Whichever was closet to the back exit.

The mall was built in 1988. The new buyers defaulted on a 7.8 million dollar loan. Sold it back to the original owner for 10 dollars.Its gone now Nothing in its place! Bakersfield Ca .
